Hi Everyone! My name is Samantha and I am 55 years old. I live in Maine and have been married to my husband, Robert, for 15 years. We don't have any children but we do have 2 cats that are brother and sister and are almost 2 years old. Mango is an orange tabby and Penny is a multi colored tabby.

I love to spend time with my family, especially my nieces and nephews...I have 11! And I have 5 Great nieces and nephews! We have lots of sleepovers and we do crafts, cook, explore the woods and play video games. We have fun with those temporary tattoos and I am usually sporting at least one on any given day.

I feed the birds and love watching and listening to them when I am out working in my gardens. I don't have much of a green thumb but I do try. I have planted hundreds of bulbs and lots of hosta. I am always interested to learn about shade loving plants because my gardens are quite shaded. I grow tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, bell peppers, lettuce and spinach in pots so I can move them around to the most sunny spots.

My favorite food is pizza. But I do love a good hamburger. I love to cook but I don't like fiddly recipes because I don't have the patience. And I don't want mushrooms in or on anything. I really like to bake but I don't do it much because my husband isn't a sweet eater and I have a wicked sweet tooth.

I don't have much time to read but I do listen to recorded books while I am working. My favorites are Mysteries but I will listen to most anything. I love music of any kind. Live music always gives me chills. I always have a song in my mouth and I very often just break into song. Doesn't matter where I am...sometimes a song must come out! We go to the movies quite often in the winter because I'm not much of a winter fan. My favorite movies are (in no particular order) Gone With the Wind, School of Rock, Tombstone and all of the Harry Potter movies. But my husband and I enjoy the Marvel movies, the Fast and the Furious movies, the Star Wars movies and anything with Jason Statham or Liam Neeson. But we do watch all different types.

I have traveled some inside and outside of the US. I have family in England and have visited there several times.

I send snail mail to my family and close friends all of the time because I think it's fun to open the mailbox and find something that is just for you. I have found a couple of great places on Facebook that send cards to seniors in homes or stuck at home. I send birthday cards and thinking of you cards several times a month. I'm not very crafty, I tend to stick to the crafts with the kids. I am obsessed with stickers and collect all I can get my hands on. Every envelope/package I send has at least one. I do enjoy doing puzzles and diamond painting. I also like to do paint by numbers but I haven't done one in a long while. I like to color and I can sew some too.

Some random things about me... I am a huge Harry Potter fan. I play video games every chance I get and I play Pokémon Go. My favorite color is purple but all colors make me happy. I am happiest when the sun is shining but I don't like the humidity. And I love the smell of fresh cut grass. I love all animals. I have crazy anxiety and sometimes it keeps me at home because it's my most safe place. I am not very good at reading my emails...last check I had over 4200. I have an extensive sock collection...just call me Dobby! I love flowers and plants but don't want any in my house. I'm not a fan of spiders. I love to go for a drive and have a picnic or stop for an ice-cream. I have Christmas lights up in the house all year round because they make me happy. I have many many outdoor color changing solar lights all around my garden because I love to see them at night.

I see a lot of profiles with likes and dislikes but I would like to just put it out there...if you have taken the time to read my profile and get to know me a bit...anything you send will truly make me happy. And I feel that way because you took the time and thought about me, even if it was for only a moment or two, and I very much appreciate that.
