I'm a mom of two, who works part time. I love my husband and do my best to enjoy my family and our time together. I'm practical by nature. I consider myself a homebody. I take my time sending out swaps in order to make every effort to send a great swap every time. I do my best to acknowledge swaps and wishes. Please let me know if I missed something. I will make it right.
I am drawn to functional and handmade items- cotton dishcloths, small unique or handmade art.
Other miscellaneous items that would be used and enjoyed in my life include: baking or cooking items/tools, cotton dishtowels, homemade or unique local grocery/shopping bags, woven and weaving related items, unusual or vintage buttons, natural fiber yarns (wool, cotton, hemp...), garlic and garlic themed items, homemade soap, dark chocolate, locally available food or other items.
I like mini spatulas, cotton dish towels or napkins,vintage linens and hankies, small wooden spoons or knives, fine point colored markers for writing on my calendar, vintage or vintage looking gardening postcards, herb related items, mini cards in Christmas or everyday theme.
I've recently started a collection of Styrofoam heads and mannequins/parts.I'd do private swap for that type of item.
My family members like tea: oolong, jasmine, sleepytime, green, raspberry, hibiscus and combinations of those...

paper ephemera in themes I like, I'm working on a large decoupage project
book/magazine pages in languages other than English
1-2 sheets of music
balsa plane or similar
Weaving is my favorite activity. I have large and small looms and am finding anything goes. I wish I had more time to weave. I love everything about the process. I also do small crochet projects, practical items like hot pads, spa cloths and dishcloths. I like to felt the hot pads. I've experimented with dyeing wool & cotton yarns. Cooking is enjoyable family time for us.
deep rich colors-eggplant, indigo, burgundy, browns, other neutrals
I'd love to collect used copies of the MURDEROUS MATHS series. I would do a private swap if you could help out with this quest.
Any book for the kids. My son loves math & logic books. My daughter is collecting & reading the old Nancy Drew series- any of those would be loved. Some of their fiction and non-fiction preferences are on my Amazon & PBS wishlists.
When thrifting I look for these type of items
=======
I'm just getting into postcards. I prefer them sent blank. I'm collecting funny, odd or computer/math related ones to send to my soon to be college bound son.
========
My 18 year old son DB loves to read. He likes code breaking, computer science and mysteries. He is off to college to study computer security. He drinks mild teas like green & jasmine. He loves math and logic puzzles. He loves the old Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Monty Python and Harry Potter.
My 15 year old daughter AB loves makeup, jewelry, nail polish/stickers, art supplies and anything Harry Potter. She loves to read and always needs book marks. She loves softball and volleyball. She likes knee or fuzzy socks (she is size 11) or fun t-shirts (women's large.) She likes funky belts and bandanas and collects snapbacks (hats) from different places. Her school colors are purple & gold/yellow. A lanyard or school supplies in those colors would be useful.
DH enjoys bagpipes, especially the Black Watch. He likes green tea, dark chocolate, a good cigar, pistachios, sunflower/pumpkin seeds/pepitas, and other nuts. He would love bay rum soap/shaving stuff. He collects coins, early 80's & prior- any country including the US. He would be thrilled with a roll of pennies or nickels to sort through-seriously! He's a simple guy. He would appreciate any funny, crude or characters from the 60's t-shirts in XL. He subscribes to International Living magazine. He would like any recent Kiplinger, Money or other investment magazines or newsletters. He would appreciate any books or info on green or sustainable living. He does not enjoy or follow any sports.
My Mom is a beautiful, amazing & active 95 yo woman. We see her regularly. I'd be grateful for a little something for her anytime. She sews, knits & crochets. She likes cotton for dishcloths & acrylic/blends for everything else. She would appreciate circular knitting needles in larger sizes. She uses single 1"+ buttons or any size sets of buttons in her projects. She prefers 18" zippers but would use any size. She likes soft printed kitchen towels, any theme. She likes coffee. She is a diabetic, no candy or sweets.
Please no acrylic yarn, sample toiletries, dollar store toys

Hello! Thank you for the sweet black & white photos (CPG Nov. Wishlist). Love them! Makes me wish we still dressed elegantly and all proper with hats and matching handbags. (I’m doing good if my socks match). Am open to swapping next year, any time. Thanks for brightening up my day! 🙋ðŸÂȉÂÂï¸Ââ„ï¸Â
