I love to read, swap, listen to music, and sip on tea or flavored coffee. All while cuddling my adorable dog!
I am disabled with fibromyalgia and bipolar disorder. Jedi, my bichepoo (bichon frise & mini poodle mix, we think, LOL) is my emotional support dog. I was also recently diagnosed with mild to moderate autism.
Pronouns: she/her
Pan-grey-sexual (ie I'm physically attracted to very few people but those that I am aren't dependent on gender) panromantic.
I live in an apartment, with my furbaby. I live in a medium-sized town smack between Milwaukee, WI, and Chicago, IL. The most famous person to come out of my hometown/current town of residence is Mark Ruffalo.
Alt Rock above all particularly Imagine Dragos, Mariana's Trench, and The Script
Pop/Top 40- or at least I loved it in the '90s and 00's (think P!nk, Blink 182, etc) as well as Mariana's Trench my current favorite adult pop band.
Pop-Country if that makes any sense- Like Blake Shelton
Soundtracks- 10 Things I Hate About You, RENT (movie cast), and A Walk to Remember Soundtrack
Broadway- WIcked, RENT (Broadway cast), and Avenue Q
And the Glee Albums!
Dogs and coffee drinks are two obsessions of mine. I can name most dog breeds by sight or description. I love Starbucks!!
I've also recently fallen in love with kawaii penguins, dogs, and hedgehogs! Anything with them would be amazing!
My favorite colors are pink, purple, teal, and mint green. I love books, chocolate, coffee, tea, and dogs, as well as anything to do with those things.
I collect coffee mugs. I also collect bookish items (my favorite are candles) as well as dog-themed items.
I love candy, mostly chocolate, I prefer milk or white with some other flavor or a filling, caramel, mint, raspberry, peppermint, orange, coffee.
I love candles, I really love the ones with sweet or book themed scents.
Tea: NO MORE TEA!! LOL thanks but I'm backed up for years!
Stickers: craft quality stickers, animals, food or drink, non-religious holiday stickers
Washi samples- especially these themes: food/drinks, small shops, animals of any kind, mail/swapping/postcard, rainbows/rain/weater
Hard to open envelopes, please don't tape every available edge, it's frustrating try to get them open, and I am terrified I'll cut something if I use scissors, so it just stresses me out.
Colors: greens-not of the shade mentioned in likes, orange, and brown.
Scents: floral or woodsy or smoke
Topics/themes: Sexism, racism, misogyny, harm to animals or children, violence against anyone esp sexual violence, religious items, homophobic; spiders or cockroaches or scorpions
Tea: Caffeinated
Stickers: Cheap or kids stickers, religious, puffy
Please NO bath or body items! My mom is extremely sensitive to strong scents and I have eczema!
Please do NOT send me recipes unless requested! I'm a very picky eater as well as having some food intolerances, and my mom who is my roommate and does most of the cooking, is diabetic.
I HATE when people send me religious items-especially promoting a specific religion or church. Please do not include or send anything religious including bible verses. I respect your religion please respect my right to not be religious.
I'm only really doing traveling postcards at the moment, in addition to decorating my planners, due to lack of space and energy.
I click for having sent the item on the date I put it in the mailbox, even if it's a holiday or Sunday and it will be picked up the next day, so if the date on the envelope doesn't match the sent day, this is why.
If something doesn't arrive please contact me, and I'll do my best to resend, please try to contact me before rating me a 1 or 3. I will never not send something,
I will message you if I will be sending late, which will happen very rarely! I don't have a car, due to my disability, so my bf mails things for me or takes me to the PO, so if something is late that is probably why.

There are so many things I appreciate about my library and since I've moved so many times
1- libraries have been the constant in my life
2 - bookclubs - online & in person. During COVID, this was a source of great fun and when we resumed in person, we enjoyed the ability to gather and laugh together!
3 - all the free resources such as Libby, OverDrive (I prefer OverDrive), Hoopla and Kanopy! FREE is always better, right?!
4 - author meetings. Tried to go to one in February and it was like a mini rock concert. They only allowed 200ppl in so I skipped out of line when I saw a kid crying because he thought he wouldn't get in...I hope he got in!!
5 - all sorts of free events such as Movies Under the Stars night, craft nights, story time, Lego Club, Manga Club, Tai Chi & Yoga classes, Kpop Club, local artist exhibits, book fairs, plus so much more
