About Me

I host, give RAKS and swap at Cheap Postage Swaps, Tags and Fun and CPG Newbies

I host offsite at Instagram and on Facebook as well as at atcsforall.com

I enjoy crochet, origami, zines, atcs, collage, Sharpies and pretty much anything to do with paper.

We are empty nesters so I try not to accumulate too many extras. I've run down my papers but um, the yarn is taking over, lol!

Need a crochet item? Ask me for a swap! You can check out my Instagram for recent projects.

Styles I like: beach/tropical; clean/IKEA, hand drawn, and some kawaii (Hello Kitty, sushi, food with faces and pandas).

Styles I don't care for: kiddie, overly victorian/vintage, lace, nudes, gothic/dark or religious, cutesy, kitschy country.

LIKES: Fav colors include sea blue/sea glass, navy, turquoise, red, rosy pink, burgundy, purple! Fav scents are citrus, linen, simple and clean.

I'm always happy to receive:

HANDMADE:
* address labels or PDT labels
* aprons
* handmade or fun soaps (nothing for a bath as we only have showers)
* crochet patterns listed on my Etsy

OR:

  • yarn, cotton or worsted
  • flower seeds
  • stud earrings - sterling silver or stainless
  • tea towels
  • one size fits all stretchy winter gloves
  • good quality stickers (botanical, origami, seasonal)
  • face, hand or foot sheet masks
  • pretty emery boards or nail files
  • kawaii memo sheets
  • anything from or inspired by my etsy favorites
  • Fav Postcards - travel, greetings from, beach/tropical, asian, Hello Kitty, Greece, fine art repros, Key West, ocean - not picky at all.
  • Collecting "Greetings From" pcs with the big bubble letters - trying to get all 50 states. I have AR, CA, CO, FL, GA, KS, KY, IL, ME, MI, MN, NM, NV, TN, TX, OR, UT) but I would love any others!

  • Fav food & drink: dark chocolates, chocolate with fruits or nuts, anything almond, andes mints, hard candies in travel tins; decaf black teas like decaf orange spice teas, decaf earl or lady grey tea, tea biscuits or stroopwafel cookies!!

No thanks! Things I don't need or care to receive:

  • planner, kiddie, teacher/reward stickers
  • fabric/lace/ribbon (have too much already!!)
  • paper scraps
  • incense or anything with a strong odor
  • herbal or green teas
  • anything licensed unless it's kawaii:)
  • anything religious
  • fabric - I can't sew nor have to time to learn
  • Please NO dollar store cosmetics, candles, candy/food, or personal care products - thanx!

ALLERGIES: Smoke, cat hair.

I am an early sender and a prompt rater. Please contact me if you have not received an item or a rating.

Also, I take most items to the PO to be weighed but sometimes what I think are simple flat envies go over an ounce and I don't realize it. If you get anything from me that comes postage due, please let me know and I'll send it to you!

Crafty Things I Make and Send

Comment: Hi OG! How fun to have you as my partner! You have been on SB for a long time - you go girl! I was in another group before joining SB as well making ATC's - I was so Happy to find SB and as you said, cut out the middleman! LOL! When I look back on how many swaps I have completed, I think WOW, that is a ton of money and yet, I love sending and receiving Happy Mail, so a vice that makes me happy and supports the postal service (who I husband is retiring from!)! Have you met any SBers in person? I hosted a get together back when Rachel was still involved, so many years ago, and there were six or seven of us - I don't think they are swapping any longer. I did meet Donna (Mimi7) from SB and we have been friends ever since! We craft together when we have time and chat through messager often! I have gotten away from making ATCs and never got started on post-crossing for some reason. SB has been enough for me! LOL! I have wound up recycling many of my swaps, but removing the stamps first to send to the organization that helps Vets (of course, the name has slipped my mind - sigh!) - I have a bunch I need to send shortly. SB has been a really good outlet for me and I hope it continues to be for many more years! All the best! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)

Comment: Thank you for the beautiful photo, artwork notecard, with stickers and postcards! I laughed at the idea going to work to buy more yarn and postage! Only us swappers can relate or understand that one! I have customers who complain buying stamps and how much they cost! I think inside oh my you have no idea who much I buy a year in stamps. I also enjoyed reading about the food people buy for a snowstorm. Yup, people do more baking that time. Hope their electric stays on for that, unless you have gas. As always great swap!

Comment: I hadn't heard of FirstStreet.org. We are 1/10 but they don't consider extreme cold. Thanks for the telling me about it. We are looking at Philadelphia, where we can live without driving.

Comment: Lucky me! Two in one day! And Accidentally Wes Anderson! Thank you. Not much snow here - just bitterly cold weather and dripping faucets so they won't freeze again as they did in December.

Comment: Thank you for the cool Australia postcard. I would love to travel there some day. We need rain right now. Not only for the fires in LA but we are at risk all around the state after a dry winter. I'd be happy to cozy up indoors and wait out a big rainstorm.

What cute stickers and sticker sheets! And a pretty envelope too. Thanks for my January CPG Wish.

MuggleMom on Jan 10, 2025:

Thanks for the junk journal ephemera for Jan CPG wishlist!! The broken heart paperclip will have to be set aside or maybe set in a specific Valentine's journal because I wouldn't want a heart patient to get it unless they have a great sense of humor.

Thanks

xx
