My favorite group to listen to is the Indigo Girls. I can often tell when my husband thinks I'm acting prickly if he pops the Girls in the player. :)

Norah Jones holds a place in my heart BC her Come Away a With Me Album was playing during my 2nd child's water birth. Brings back sweet memories of an easy birth.

Stevie Nick's Landslide moves me to tears. Every.single.time!

I love reading! Whether it's with my children or solo, I always have a book going. A "Favorite" list is tough to conjure up.

I enjoy reading historical fiction, especially about the Reformation in England. I especially enjoy Henry VIII reign. I am fascinated that ill-fated Anne Boleyn's daughter was Queen Elizabeth I.

Jane Austen is a balm for my soul when weary. Pride & Prejudice, Sense & Sensibilities, Emma, Mansfield Park. But could not get through Northanger Abbey.

I also read self-help books, trying to improve myself and figure out better ways to parent. At the time of this writing, I'm enjoying "How To Behave, So Your Children Will, Too!" That tickles my funny bone!

We homeschool, so I'm usually in the midst of a children's classic. As of this writing, I'm getting the pleasure of sharing "Anne of Green Gables" with my children.

my children are pretty great, of course. My daughter is 9, son is 6, and "surprise, last" daughter is 1. Lily, Simon, Annika.

Cats are a bit of a nuisance. Ha! Names are Maggie and Trixie. They're sisters.

My husband and I've been married for 17 years, but I keep thinking that can't be right bc I'm not that... aged. ;)

I enjoy handcrafts: crochet, sewing, cross stitching.

Trying to figure out how to keep the house "in order."

Don't watch many movies, but i do enjoy our Amazon prime and Netflix subscriptions for television.

I tend towards British shows. Endeavor, Sherlock, Merlin, Keeping Up Appearances, Wrong Mans, Miranda, and the like. I want to like Dr Who... just can't quite jump on board, though.
