About Me
I like music, crafts, and making people laugh when they're trying to drink water. I like drinking tea, I love drinking coffee, I also like writing in journals, and acting artsy in general. I'm vegan, aspiring minimalist and I like twitter a little too much. I also like hanging out in book stores and reading until they kick me out for not buying anything. I spend a lot of time in my room dancing my legs down to the knees.
Favorite Music
I like Modest Mouse, Jens Lekman, the Smiths, Xiu Xiu, Belle and Sebastian, and lots of other stuff like that, which is to say indie and/or european. I also like a lot of electronical types, like CFTPA. I get in song/artist cycles frequently.
Favorite Books
I like short stories by George Saunders, Roald Dahl, and Haruki Murakami. I like novels and books about not buying things.
Favorite Movies
So many, I love foreign films, and I'm always watching IFC, and I also like random dramas and comedies and pretty much any Tarantino or Miyazaki movie.
Favorite Television
I love love love The Mighty Boosh, Nathan Barley (Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding in any situation is my cup of tea 100%), Intervention, shows on HGTV, and Glee.
Favorite Crafts
Paper crafts! I love rubber stamps, although I'm very bad at finding places to store them. I knit (I can make a mean dishcloth) and I love researching new crafts.
Current Celebrity Obsession
After a long (LONG) jaunt reading every Smiths/Morrissey book I could get my grubby little hands on I've made the switch to a new fixation with Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding, although in the face of the Smiths compulsion it's relatively minor.

me too, love foreigh films.. i'd rather watch foreign films than those hollywood made, i dont know why but watching movies with different language is just fascinating and also, they usually got a deeper story line.
ahh, you should watch italy's L'uomo Perfetto, its my favoriiiiiitee! so romantic yet funny
i shouldnt meet you in person, you'll just make fun when im drinking and i'll just choke, you know, im easy like that. hahahahaha!

How fun to meet another fan! I keep trying to turn people on to the Mighty Boosh, but either you get it right away or you don't. It's obvious you get it! Have you seen the "It Crowd"? If you love the Boosh I'm sure you will love the "IT Crowd" plus Noel is in it as well as the actor who plays Saboo, he is one of the stars, and his character is so different on that show.
It's very funny, I think your about 22 years younger than me, but we really have a lot in Common. My husband and I saw Morrisey at Irvine Meadows about 12 years ago. And just the other day I got in the car with my 19 year old son and we listened to Bona Drag all the way to the Valley (a 60 mile drive from my house).
You sound like a really neat person, and I hope we get to swap again real soon.

Stopping by from the 'leave a comment' swap. I gotta admit, I REALLY love your fav. television shows. One of my good friends is OBSESSED with The Mighty Boosh. I really like watching HGTV to find out simple and natural ways of doing stuff around the house and what not. I wish I knew how to knit. I have wanted to learn for such a long time. Everyone always makes such awesome things. You have such a fun and unique profile and seem like a really fun person. I like that you like to make people laugh while they are drinking water..too funny. I am always trying to make people laugh but quite often just end up laughing at myself which in my eyes is NO problem at all!! I think laughter is truly the best medicine!
