I am newly retired and working on downsizing big time.

I love writing. I have been writing pen pals for 53 years.

Concerning Ratings: My "1" rating is from 2019 during a family emergency. I've contacted the recipient but she's not been on SB since 2019 so I don't have a lot of hope of being able to make up for it.

I splurged on an Instax camera and have fun using it.

I have a garden that keeps me busy and fed.

I have a booth in an antique/craft store to help get rid of things and give me a little cash.

I am attempting my hand at zines again.

I started a secret YouTube channel since retiring.

I would like penpals, be it one off or a friendship that lasts years.

I like to work on my glue book which I find very relaxing. I use composition notebooks and have several in the works.

I don't have a television.

I am very much into frugal living.

I am not collecting much these days. I do enjoy the tacky, absurd and bizarre. Items with a Catholic bent alway catch my eye. I also enjoy anything Jewish, yiddish or kosher.

I am a big fan of Dorothy Day. I have been diving into the Catholic Workers movement big time.

I do like flamingos. They represent balance.

I have a overwhelming amount of letter writing stationery that I've collected over the years. There are enough books in my home to never have to buy another again. I need to merge my fantasy self into my reality self. Now that I have time I can start.

I am mainly interested in letter writing, journaling or postcard swaps. My favorites are journal swaps of all kinds be it a week or month. I also enjoy question a day or listing types. If you have these and want to swap or even do private swaps let me know!! I prefer real letters and journals, not email. Call me old fashioned.

I also have a large collection of art supplies. I could open a store in my own home.
