I love my dog, Snickers, who has been with me since her adoption in April of 2024. She comes from an abusive background, and has finally learned what "being loved" means. She knows what toys are, and that nobody else is going to get her food.

I do love critters, whimsey, collage, AND junk journaling in the addictive state ... and anything to do with creating ephemera to nail down in it. I should have been a gypsy, as there is usually no rhyme or reason with my daily journals. I pre-create or decorate pages (8.5x11 folded in half is my size here) & when the month is up, I grab 16 more pages randomly to use for the next month.

OH, and I love love love DIE CUTS .... I got a Tim Holt Sizzix Switch ... A WHILE AGO ... and what a marvel "it must be". Need some time (like a 30-hour day would help) ... to play with it & get started. I haven't been able to play with much of anything due to a fall (Nov. 29, 2025) on a patch of ice that put me down since then; surgery on Dec. 3rd & home on the 4th -- no rehab due to dog care issues. Broke my ankle in 2 spots, & 2 other bones on the top part of my right foot. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!! My patience is wearing very thin! I go back for a follow-up on Jan. 19, 2026, and IT BETTER BE READY TO WALK ON!

Favorite colors: blue/purple, blue/white, red/white & black. Those are colors I can wear. Orange, green, yellow are all fun to create with. And I am now leaning into the neutrals and "vintage" look of things lately.

Love music, but can't find a station I like. WLTE was my favorite station here until they turned it into country western ... and I DO like CW, but in small doses. Prefer the likes of Lionel Richey, Barry Manalow, & the softer side of music. Favorite all time piece is a piano tune called "Rachel's Song" by Gary Prim. LOVE his music.

I also love digi kits. I shop on Etsy way too much and have hundreds of vendors kits, and as a new goal in 2026 I want to print out EVERY Kit or item I bought and USE IT in a journal ... at the moment that would be for a "scavenger hunt" or collage type TN notebook. I am a member of "The Digital Collage Club" and "Clip Art Club"!

Will take Autumn over Winter, Spring over Summer, but mostly I just hate HEAT & HUMIDITY, so anything in-between that, I enjoy. I love WINTER for it's beauty, but love it more if I CAN STAY INSIDE to "look at it" ...

Wish List is simple: Bits N' Pieces, Small ephemera or border strips, just about anything qualifies here to put me in my happy place.

I'm a senior and not liking it much. If this year is any indication of "what's ahead' .... I DON'T WANT TO SEE TOMORROW!

Other than my junk journaling, I like to read (Harry Potter, Clan of the Cave Bear, Angie Sage's "Septimus Heap" saga, and David Baldacci). Lately I've been getting free books to read on my Kindle ... and the "cozy mystery" type stuff. Only because they are a quick thing to kill time with. The last series of 10 were like reading the same book over and over again with a different killer.

Please do not send religious stuff, kid stuff, or the kawaii type things. I was in a sticker club (Stickii Club) for too long and have a plethora of that which is hard to get rid of. I AM ok with a little snarky type stuff as it suits my sarcasm when needed where I live. :)
