About Me
I'm a mother, wife and nature lover.
After working 21 years in a local elementary school, my time is now my own. And I have filled every minute of it.
I have two incredible volunteer jobs ever! During the summer months I am a trail guide at Timpanogos Cave National Monument. And I love it! Spending days hiking the trail and talking to those who are on an adventure is amazing. You can check it out here: https://www.nps.gov/tica/index.htm
During the colder months I volunteer at the Thanksgiving Point Butterfly Biosphere working with the entomologist and horticulturists to help the butterflies thrive. It is peaceful, beautiful and humid. LOVE! You can check it out here: https://thanksgivingpoint.org/experience/butterfly-biosphere/
I try to spend as much time as possible outdoors. Hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, swimming, pretty much anything! I volunteer as a leave no trace trainer and love to teach and educate others on the importance of respecting our beautiful land.
I love deserts, beaches, forests, all of it! Being outside centers and balances me. You will always find me with a rock, shell or leaf in my pocket. I can't help it!
I have been married to the most wonderful man for 33 years and have 4 children, ages 29-21 and two sweet grand babies! Life is good!
I am an eternal optimist. I try to always look for the good in situations and people.
