I live in the country with a variety of cats and dogs. My hobbies Include knitting, crocheting, painting and mixed media mail art.

I have 2 grandkids; ages 5 and 9.

I work in an office during the week so Swap-bot and crafting help me unwind.

I love my dogs...Lucy, Kaiser and Tibby.

My favorite books are thrillers and fantasy type books. My favorite authors are: John Grisham, Dan Brown, James Patterson. My favorite books are the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and The Hobbit. I also like Harry Potter and own all the books. I've been trying to read the books listed in "1001 books you must read before you die" I've recently discovered audio books and have quite a collection.

Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Old Black and White movies, Star Trek, X-men and several of the Marvel movies.

I enjoy knitting and crocheting. I’ve started learning to paint with watercolors and am loving it. I get a monthly craft subscription which takes me in a new crafty direction each month.

I love dogs and collect dog stuff, particularly Doberman Pinscher and German Shepherd.

Postcards: Store bought or hand made. Sent naked. I prefer handmade cards but also like touristy cards and night time cityscapes and winter scenes.

I collect altered letter B's. I have a wall that is covered in B's...I could always use more! Also, any thing with my name on it!

APC's (Altered Playing Cards): These are my current favorite thing in whole world. I am working on a bunch of decks, trying to collect all 52 cards in a particular theme. I'm currently collecting:

Pink (the color) Artist's Choice......in case none of the themes appeal to you.

My favorite foods are salty snacks. Sunflower seeds (salted but not flavored) are a favorite! Chips and Salsa are a close second!

Mexican food is one of my favorite foods. Luckily, there are lots of mexican restaurants here in California! I'm always looking for the perfect Hot Salsa recipe...I haven't found it yet.

I’ve recently become a tea addict. I enjoy trying all kinds of new teas. So far my favorite flavors are mint, chai and citrus flavored.

I try to stay active so my aging body doesn't give out any sooner than necessary. I enjoy running, walking and hiking. I love running in races (which is really the only reason I run). I enjoy walking and hiking with family and friends. I play Pickleball once a week and really look foward to it. I like to garden during the spring and summer. And, there is always weedeating to do in the spring and firewood to haul in the fall and winter. Living in the country provides alot of opportunity to stay active.
