I'm a married mother of 2 living in the fabulous desert here in Phoenix, Arizona. (Fabulous may be sarcastic if it's 110 degrees outside.) I have 2 daughters, 8 and 5yo, and they're a wonderful handful.

I am also a full-time student studying public administration and nonprofit management. I feel like the "old lady" in most classes, but I'm enjoying school.

For fun, we're active in our local Humanist Society chapter. We're also an outdoorsy family: camping, hiking, a bit of geocaching... You get the idea :)

I love books!

I'm an avid reader (more so when not in school) and would love to connect with people on Goodreads. I love watching people's progress and finding great new books through friends.

I read a lot of nonfiction books, especially science books and horror. I also love fiction, classic and new. I'm not much for romance type books, but I'm open to most everything else.

I like sci-fi and Masterpiece Theater.

I dislike anything with a laugh track.

Books, libraries, art, and museums sum me up pretty well. :)

Anything having to do with the outdoors. Found nature items, postcards, maps, etc.

I collect Middle Eastern themed things, any books, postcards, souvenirs or pictures would be appreciated.

Handmade items. Anything that shows it was made with love :)

Anything edible including coffee and tea is fine.

I'm pretty easy going, but there are a couple things I don't really like.

Super religious items, not including religious architecture or vintage or historic postcards, which are fine.

Cosmetics and candles. I don't like most scents, and even in fall/spring, things tend to melt in the mailbox. :(

Things that smell like smoke.

I mostly enjoy paper crafts. I make greeting cards and tags, and I've been trying out ATCs and really enjoying them.

I love getting random scraps of paper or ephemera since I mostly do small collages.

I am currently looking mostly at postcard exchanges due to life time constraints.

I like all sorts of postcards, especially odd or weird ones. There's no way to offend me, so feel free to send whatever you like.

I also prefer my postcards naked and stamped.
