Send a card that you consider an art card to each partner. I consider an art card as something drawn. You may think of a sculpture as art. Store bought only. Find 3! I'm working my POM pile down! Just try it!

How about painted? Or just hand-created - is that what you mean?

knitmom7 11/16/2010 #

Has to be store bought! But it could be a painting or a statute or a mask. Get the idea?!

susieq11 11/17/2010 #

Yes - I know store bought -- I guess I was getting TOO specific!! Thanks! : )

You're sweet,susieq!

cool, I love art postcards. (If it's possible, I prefer paintings, but any sort of art is cool. It's fun learning about new artists.) :D

I'm in but I am watching until it gets closer! : )

What does POM refer to in this context? Also, unless you thought @reauk meant an actual human (um...), I don't understand why human figures can't be considered art when they're one of the oldest and most oft-used themes in art. Think: Da Vinci, Botticelli, Kahlo, Michelangelo, Henry Moore, Rubens, Rembrandt, Mapplethorpe, Goya, oh, I've barely even started. :) Can you please explain what you meant as I am confused...?

knitmom7 11/28/2010 #

Pom are pomegranite cards. and yes I thought she meant actual people. If it is a painting/statute of a human figure Then it is art! You're right and I stand corrected. Thanks for the nudge!
