Description:

At Christmas money was tight so my sister and I swapped items from our crafty stash instead of buying new stuff. We both loved it and it was a massive success. I thought it would be a good idea for Swap-bot. (If fact there is an American version in the top swaps as I type!)

So here is the opportunity to share your crafty stash with a new friend and receive a parcel full of new things to excite and inspire you.

The requirements are that you go to your craft room / drawers / cupboard and sort out lots of goodies for your partner. The papers you bought too many of, the box of brads you doubled up on, the paper flowers you made too many of, the sheets from that massive kit that you bought but won't use it all, the pretty buttons, the shiny sequins, the gorgeous ribbon, the delicate lace, the sweet stickers, the sentiments, stamps, toppers, glitter, punched shapes, anything that you have that is good quality and perfect for sharing. They don't have to be brand new and un-opened. You could split a pack of brad/buttons with your partner, or send a sheet of peel-offs that have one or two missing, send a couple of shaped cards with envelopes out of a larger pack. All I ask is that the items are good quality and of a decent size. Imagine that you are giving some of your stash to a good friend.

Aim to send at least a bulging A4 envelope. You can send a box or a large envelope/Jiffy bag as long as there is a good selection of items. (Try not to send all the same thing) You want to give your partner a real treat and something she can spend a while sorting through and getting excited about!

This is obviously senders choice but do feel free to add a comment if there is anything you particularly like or use a lot of.

If you have any questions let me know. :)
