Description:

No this is not a swap for a talking horse, you will only understand that reference if you are old.

I was all set up for the cancelled mountain swap so have stolen it with my own warped twist, I hope no one minds.

This swap is in Honour of Sir Edmund Hilary, the first man, with Sherpa Tenzing, to climb the highest mountain in the world, Mt Everest. He was such a nice man, I clambered on to his knee when I was two and would not get off, apparently I was dragged, screaming, from his presence.

Place 4 or more postcards of mountains in an envelope which you think Sir Ed would have climbed if he had still been alive. - Sender's choice, but any mountain will do, unwritten, store bought, good condition.

This is a hard swap for me as most of our New Zealand postcards have mountains Sir Ed has already climbed. (Perhaps he would have reclimbed them for old times sake.)

Of course Colorado has one or two more mountains than you all do, so perhaps your MR Ed would have spent half a life here. And no I am not talking about the talking horse whom by the way is on the Hallmark movie channel about 5 in the morning for parts of the USA.

I will be joining this one also.

Colorado, I have only seen the pictures and even they are awesome.

I'm joining too--also in Colorado and have many mountain cards to share! Fawnscrafts and I will just have to hope we don't get each other for a partner! Carol in Denver
