This swap wasn't even due until Oct 11 so the fact that it was post marked the 9th only proves that it got deposited in the mail box after the pick up time on the 8th. What's sad about this rating is that someone who received a swap sent out 3 days BEFORE the dead line, and that met all the requirements --- which was only to send a card OR a post card....would take time to research the dates enough to withhold the heart and then post it publicly, when I sent you a nice card, a full sheet of Halloween stickers, 2 samples of Orange washi tape, a shaped paper clip and a hand written note inside an envelope decorated front and back.

Response: I am sorry you didn't get you postcard...but maybe with my feedback to you, you can improve your communication with the next partner so you don't have a repeat of this again. I initiated contact with you asking if you received the first card I sent. When you said no, I apologized and sent another one (4 days later). When you contacted me to say that one also didn't arrive, I replied and said that I had the materials to make it a THIRD time, but would also be happy to take a "no rating" on this swap. (making a fabric postcard takes me about 30+ minutes and I was frustrated bc I had already invested time and effort twice and even uploaded the photos to Flickr for you to see and then they simply didn't arrive.) YOU DID NOT RESPOND! So, When you didn't respond, I made the mistake of thinking that you accepted my "no rating" offer. I wish now I had thought to send you another message to clarify if you agreed to it.... Oh well....the way I see it, is that you didn't bother to respond ...and the rating of a 1 was harsh especially since there were photos of what I made you on Flickr, AND since you had received another similar swap from me during the time when all this was going on! Not only did you like it...you rated it a 5 with a heart and noted that the attention to detail was "special." Given the fact that I had 96 5's most that were level 3....and 107 hearts (one from YOU just a couple weeks after the first one should have arrived)....a person would think that you would cut me some slack and at least respond to my message and tell me "no Tanya I do not want to do a 'no rating'...I want my postcard." I could then have sent it in an envelope WITH a delivery confirmation or something and neither of us would be here. As it is...Rosie...You exemplify a serious flaw in swapbot. I have the receipts and photos of where I sent to you...and the messages where I talked to you. All of them were very cordial but you still went ahead and exercised your right to rate a 1....knowing that there is still that element of having to rely on the post office to get it to you- no matter how much work we put into the swap. I don't think you would be "happy" to change this rating....otherwise you would have spent the time it took you to rate me a 1...and looked at the photos in flickr...looked at my reputation on here...and looked at what I had already sent you, and seen that maybe....just maybe you and I had the bad luck of having mail that didn't get through to each other. It happens! I am sorry you didn't get the postcard from your other partner in this same swap...and that my first two didn't arrive. But sadly...this rating....after all I tried to do to get it to you...and after all the work I put into trying to make you two really nice postcards....that you so flippantly just hand me a 1....that I am leaving swap bot. Oh an IF swap bot screens these feed backs for ideas on how to improve this site...maybe you can consider a fourth rating. Like a "0"....for those rare times when the sender can PROVE (with receipts) they sent it, but the receiver can say they really didn't get it. That way the sender isn't stuck mailing it over and over again...and then still stuck getting at best a 3 when it finally arrives. It's a sad situation all the way around bc swap bot really was a fantastic thing!
