Description:

This is an ATC swap with a teaching and demo element where you will have one (1) partner and you will mail one (1) ATC with anything you want to put on your ATC. No theme and this is not profile based. Anything Goes!

HOWEVER-

You will need to demo an artistic/mixed media/stamping technique somewhere on your ATC. You'll also send some brief typed up instructions on how to do the technique so your swap partner can try the technique themselves on one of their future projects or ATC's. I'm recommending "Step 1, 2, 3" type of written instructions please to make it simple and easy.

Use either these books listed below or the Somerset Magazines often have good ATC and mixed media techniques with instructions in them. The books below can usually be checked out at the library through inter-library loan or worldcat.

Instructional Books: "Artist Trading Card Workshop" by Bernie Berlin "Rubber Stamping Artist Trading Cards" by Jill Haglund "Altered Books Workshop" by Bev Brazelton

There are many other mixed media books and online resources available, I'm just listing a few as suggestive. By all means, feel free to google and youtube.com has some terrific video tutorials for all kinds of stamping and mixed media techniques to help you.

This may become a regular Ink Paper Scissors swap-so if you like it, let me know. Leave me some feedback and don't be shy-ask questions.

Of course I'll angel or find you one in the forums, if this unfortunate event occurs.

The books you suggested, can be bought online or at Barnes and Noble? I'm still learning about ATC's,and recently took an online mixed media course. I hope I can teach someone something new, however, I look forward to learning something new too!
