I'm also a sucker for pulp science fiction, I love romances and fairy tales and tropes. I write fanfic and play more matching games on my tablet than I should.

Favourite Colours:

I love pink, and teal and well, yes it's Miami Vice colours. But I also love greens! And dark wood tones! I think I like most colours tbh.

Favourite Supplies and scraps:

I use paper and fabric more than yarn and embroidery floss. I love lost findings and beads. Given the choice between rough and home-made and slick and fancy, I like the home-made more.

Things to note:

I haven't been on here in um, like ten years! But I am trying to get back to things I love.

Looking at what I wrote in like, the 2010s: "Foreigner, Dio, Blue Oyster Cult, the Police, Cicada Omega, Brotherhood of Broken Hearts, Bow Wow Wow, Queen, Cheap Trick, Scissor Sisters, Metal Mags, Supreme Beings of Leisure"

And yeah it's about the same, except I unabashedly love disco and euro house now, and hyper pop and also just New Wave (Hungry Like The Wolf has been a top play of the year for... several years).

I love horror, Event Horizon is almost a comfort movie. But I love sci-fi too, and action movies that are about righting wrongs (see: Monkey Man and The Beekeeper for most recent faves in that genre).

I think Clueless is one of the world's perfect movies and I have watched it as much as Candyman.

Let's not talk about how many times I have watched the American Experience episode on the beginnings of the FDA (The Poison Squad, it's on the services you can get with your library card). I watch Modern Marvels for nap noise.

But also I love Dropout so, so much. Improv delights! And I'm currently very invested in Doctor Odyessy.

Right now I am spending a lot of time drawing and playing with pens and paper (think: I am passionate about medieval illuminated manuscripts, but in a modern way).

I do a lot of assemblage, so I love ephemera and found objects, old ticket stubs, broken pieces of china, weird little toys and other things that some might consider junk, but I find beauty in.
