haha! was that a tag you sent or a clown car?!!!?? i found the chewing gum (yay!) and the flesh colored sharpie (double yay!) when i went to put the bubble mailer in a box for later use. pure awesomeness! thank you's abound!
you really made me smile with the tag you sent, you little profile reader! ;) i desparately needed scraps and you will have no idea how much i REALLY appreciate them. i actually liked the candy - the packaging is awesome and the taste reminds me of something i can't quite place... i offered a piece to my son, but he insisted that the wrapper must come off! haha! i make mocha flavored cookies sometimes and they require a small amout of instant coffee granules, so NOTHING you sent is going to waste! thanks so very much!

I know how hard it is/can be to live with dietary restrictions, and how many people don't take them seriously (check out the bottom of my profile for more). I have had other friends who have had similar issues, including one who is SERIOUSLY allergic to artificial sweeteners. a stick of sugar free gum can put her in the hospital.
I didn't make the fudge. My husband and I were bored on a Friday night and decided to go for a drive. We went to the truckstop in Limon, Colorado, about an hour and a half round trip. (and 1/8 tank of diesel in our VW bug). When I saw how much sugar free candy they had, I think I got a bit carried away...
Earlier that day we'd gone to Whole Foods to find some juice sweetened items, and looked for an individual drin- no luck. So I said the magic words and they comped the six pack. hubby and I each had one.
