Beatrix Potter! What a wonderful character!! :D I have to say reading the books and watching the movies she is by far one of the most unpredictable personalities. I also love how the actress played out her part, she's so loveably creepy.
Plastic Ducks? I couldn't help but smile. I went to the University of Oregon who's mascot is the The Ducks! Awesome football team, lots of team spirit and of course tons of plastic ducks :D

I hope you've recovered well from your surgery. Panda eyes must not have been fun to walk around with.
I have a 14 yo. They're fun aren't they. He's just now starting to figure out the benefits of being independently responsible. Meaning: he does his chores without being told. lol. God knows why I'm pregnant again and starting all over. XD
I hope your son gets lots of cards for his birthday.
BTW I loved the Stitch'N'Bitch series for learning how to knit. The projects were simple, funky and fun. :)
