I am so sorry to hear about your loss. This month marks the anniversary of the loss of someone very dear in my life, so I know how difficult it can be. The memories of the good days can never be taken from you, though. hugs
On a much lighter note, American cupcakes are not only delicious, they've become quite a phenomenon over here in the past few years. Anything you could think about using as a flavour or putting inside a cupcake has probably been tried, and hand-crafted cupcake shops are everywhere. I'd mail you some, but I'm certain the customs officers would simply eat them.
Best of luck on your operation and recovery, and I'll be happy to send a birthday card to celebrate your son's 16th!
On another note, I couldn't agree more about Hershey's chocolate! You think they'd catch on that it really isn't that good! Interesting article about their chocolate here:
