Sonata Arctica (power metal - very catchy tunes! Check out 'Ecliptica' album)
Nightwish (Symphonic Metal - quite 'fantasy' orientated - you may know this band - try their 'Best of' album)
Sentenced (Heavy Metal - mostly songs revolving around suicide - try 'Cold White Light' album) and lastly
Ensiferum (Viking Metal - try their 'Iron' album).
