Hello, I am a professional quilter and teacher. I have designed a few patterns but mostly enjoy meeting new people in my classes. In addition, I use my free time to knit, read and travel. Looking forward to meeting many of you.

WOW! Because I am new to this, I didn't realize how much everyone is putting into their profile. So here goes...

I live in Wisconsin and absolutely love the beauty of the snow. Snowmobiling is fun and here you see snowmobiles at the gas station along with cars. It has been so cold that at night we sometimes have to plug in the engine to electricity to keep the engine warm.and at -70 degree windchill, the snow squeaks when you walk on it.

FAMILY; I raised four children and we lived in Europe for 7 years and Asia for one. In addition, I have lived in Kentucky, Missouri, N. Carolina, Florida, Texas California, Arizona and Oklahoma. Why, you ask? My husband's career took us everywhere!

LIKES: I love my four dogs: wire-haired dachshund, silky terrier, and two cairn terriers. Mixed in with the dogs is a snowshoe Siamese that we call, "Socks." Watching movies is a favorite but usually historical intrigue or mystery and I've never found a piece of chocolate that I didn't like.

TV programs include: Dowtown Abbey, NCIS, jNatgeo and the history channel.

My favorite color is red and is found throughout the house in nearly every room.

Quilting is my passion so I am often in my studio creating a quilt or following directions for some new project. I have won several awards at quilt shows for my quilting and the people I meet are so caring. I am really looking forward to this new venture.
