I've lived in northern California since 1982. I'm originally from Michigan.

I met my husband of 40+ years at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. We enjoyed going back there for our 35th anniversary and noticed that the dance department was named after my former dance teacher and the baseball field was named after my husband's former coach. (Yes, that felt weird--but cool, too.)

We have six grown children and eight grandchildren (from middle school to infant).

RELIGION: Roman Catholic

My husband is a retired software engineer and I'm a retired professional clown (seriously) and youth minister/Bible teacher.

I ENJOY: reading and journaling. Also, lately I've been enjoying jigsaw puzzles.

I LIKE: babies, angels, butterflies, hearts, flowers, plants, trees, vintage, ocean, dolphins and horses.

FAVORITE ARTS/CRAFTS: Papercrafts (especially scrapbooking, card-making, ATCs, zines, pocket letters, and art journal pages); drawing (pencil/ink/colored pencils/watercolors); zentangles; knitting and crochet; beading; sewing

THINGS I LIKE TO RECEIVE IN SWAPS: Personal notes and letters, unique stickers, vintage ephemera, bookmarks, washi tape, note paper, cards, postcards, postage stamps, inspirational quotes, and clean jokes.

FAVORITE COLORS: Blue, purple, pink (But I mostly like all colors.)

LEAST FAVORITE COLORS: yellow/gold/avocado green/orange together (though I probably like them in other combinations. I'm really not that picky.)

RECENTLY READ BOOKS: In Alexa's Shoes by Rochelle Alexandra; Five Loaves and Two Fish by Francis Xavier Nguyen Van Thuan.

FAVORITE SAINTS: St. Therese of Lisieux, St. John Bosco, St. Padre Pio, St. Philomena (and so many more)

FAVORITE BOOKS: The Holy Bible, The Book of Heaven (writings of Luisa Piccarreta), The Hours of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ (also Luisa Piccarreta), The Mystical City of God by Venerable Mary of Agreda, Story of a Soul by St. Therese of Lisieux

FAVORITE FOODS: I prefer savory to sweet foods. I make a lot of Whole Food Plant Based simple recipes (complicated things never turn out for me). This is the way I prefer to eat, but I cook meat for my husband and kids.
