My name is Lauren :) I am married to my high school sweetheart his name is Josh. We don't have any kids yet but someday we will! For now I'm in school full time to be a Medical Lab Tech. I'm learning how to be a good cook and house keeper.I love to learn new recipes. I especially love to create things to decorate my house! I am super organized and love any time of organizational tool. I love to make lists to get things done. I like to make my lists on colorful paper. Hmm... what else to say. I'm petite with light brown hair. I love to wear high heels to make myself seem 5'5" instead of my actual 5'1" ;)

I have played the piano since I was 10. I love to play the piano more for myself than other people. My favorite is classical music, it's beauty is timeless. I love to listen to all different kinds of music. I have been loving Adele since before she was...ADELE. I like Jack Johnson, Lily Allen, Michael Buble, Josh Groban, Yo-Yo Ma, George Winston, and my absolute favorite is Mr. Frank Sinatra. He is my man, I would have married him if we lived in the same time

I love to read! I usually read a few books a week. I would love to travel to exotic places, but for now I will settle for traveling in my imagination. I have read every book Beverly Lewis has written. She writes about the Amish people from a very different point of view. Karen Kingsbury is another one of my favorites. Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers is my all time favorite. I like C.S. Lewis' series the Chronicles of Narnia and most of his other books as well. I recently read the Harry Potter series, I loved it! But I'm not a crazy Potter fan, great books but you won't see me dressing up as Hermione ;) I have read most of Stuart Woods Stone Barrington series. Yes, I'm a little all over the place. I love to read :) Oh and of course the Hunger Games.

My personal classics are You've Got Mail, Miss Congeniality, Sweet Home Alabama, Hope Floats, Where the Heart Is, Juno, X-men, Pirates and many more. I do not watch horror movies. I do not watch commercials for horror movies. I barely watch movies that are jumpy. I do not think it's fun to be scared, I think its fun to watch a movie the cheers you up or makes you think...not a movie that makes you want to pee your pants.

We don't have cable but I watch TV shows online. I'm finally watching Lost (all these years later). I just got back into Survivor because a guy I know (Jay Bayers) was on this season. I like Secret Life of the American Teenager, Switched at Birth, House, Bones, Law & Order SVU, and a few others.

I love paper. Colorful paper, patterned paper, origami, paper lanterns. I like to take something ordinary and make it beautiful. I like stickers, and cute simple designs. I love to see a lot of different colors together. I recently put up a collage of pictures covering our whole wall in apartment. I like to make cards, greeting cards, birthday cards, all cards. I like to make things for my nieces, they are 3 and 1. So any little kid crafts are welcome :)

I know I'm just starting off with Swap Bot but I love the whole concept. I love getting mail, and I really enjoy giving people good presents. I feel like this is the coolest idea and I can't wait to get started. I found out about swap bot from my very best friend in the whole world her username is avaihz. I can't begin to describe my relationship my best friend Amber. She is what I would describe as my soul friend. We met in boarding school when we were 15. At the time we were exactly the same size and we looked very similar. Apparently people can't tell you apart if you are short with brown hair and glasses. For almost a year people at school called us Amber/Lauren because they couldn't tell who was who. It annoyed me for a few seconds....and then I realized it was amazing. Amber perfectly get's my sense of humor, and she is the best friend you could ever imagine. I know it sounds like I would like to marry her....well that's not the way that I roll. She just happens to be a wonderful friend a fantastic human being. It's a privilege just to know her. So if you ever want to send something for her she loves Kawaii, and I can send it to her.
