3/24 Life has been really busy lately so I am taking a swap-bot break. If you need to contact me feel free to send me a e-mail. I will still check in here occasionally. Still love my SB family.

I am mom to 2 amazing 'boys' and wife of 40 years to a gentle man. I am thankful each day to wake up surrounded by water, trees and mountains, we live in such a beautiful country. I like to travel, esp if there is a ocean at the end of the road. Traveling with a old RV gives you time to really look where you are going even if you are just passing through. The ocean always feels like coming home to me, it makes my heart happy. When home I fill my time with volunteering at a local food bank (humans are so resilient), and at a creative Re-Use store. I quilt, craft, play in the dirt, walk and take pictures, and waste too much time on the internet. I often have glue on my fingers, paint on my clothes and piles of projects on every flat surface.

Things I love in no particular order:

- ice in everything I drink
- digging my toes in the sand

- good quality watercolor pencils
- weird and unusual stamps (rubber and postage, handmade or not, art stamps)
- cemeteries
- oddities and weird stuff ( I am not easily offended)

- making new friends and spoiling my old ones
- day of the dead
- street art
- sea life (whales, octopi, sea horses, sea star, crabs, mythological sea creatures)
- quotes and favorite poems or jokes
- laughing, most often at myself
- hand drawn ATC's
- geocaching
- Art-O-Mats
- good chocolate
- altered most anything
- handmade 'art' dolls
- thai food
- positive thinking
- listening to the trees talking
- non-traditional religious icons
- zines and mail art
- I would love some return address labels

No thank you: I really didn't want to add this section because I don't want to stifle any ones generous feelings but I also don't want things to go to waste. Please don't send glitter or punched out shapes. No thank you to children's stickers, reward stickers, sticker slapping or Hello Kitty like stickers. I really don't need scraps of paper unless they are special in some way. I am sensitive to scents, and really don't want food products unless called for in a swap. "Extra's" are fun but not needed, I will rate you on the swap itself. Please nothing religious (I respect your religious choices but have my own beliefs), political, child abusive or just plain hateful. (Sarcasm and off-color I adore) I will always love your original art, and treasure every personal note.

Regarding postage: For a letter or a PC I make an educated guess, use pretty stamps, and drop it in the local PO's box. Every package I take personally to my local PO, a few blocks away, and mail from the automated machine or with help from the PO employees. I love stamps and will use them when possible but I also love my local post office workers so when they are busy (usually) I will not make them take the extra time to find the right stamps.
