Hello! I'm an introvert who loves nature, long walks and hikes, bright and happy colors, and a cup of coffee or tea in the afternoon with a nice novel. (If you're into Myers-Briggs, I'm an INFP.)

I love fountain pens and I love snail mail even more. I like sending and receiving letters, cards, and postcards from anywhere in the world. Seeing my box filled with mail always makes me smile.

I love animals, especially cats and dogs. I have 2 adopted cats and I look after my mom's dogs (also adopted) whenever she's away or unable to take care of them.

When it comes to food and drinks, I love coffee, black and fruity teas, late harvest white wines, chocolates, and desserts. I love the smell of hot freshly baked bread and like it with butter, honey, or homemade jam and preserves.

I currently have pen pals and it's been great corresponding with them on a long-term basis. If you're interested in becoming my snail mail friend, feel free to let me know! I'm looking for pen pals from Asia, Europe and Australia / New Zealand - basically, anywhere except US (I'm sorry, I have some US pen pals now and I would like more diversity in my mail)

Romance novels are my guilty pleasures. I especially like Jane Austen, Georgette Heyer, and Barbara Cartland's works. My other favorites are Harry Potter, A Song of Ice and Fire, and J.R.R. Tolkien's books.

I'm a novice in photography, card making, calligraphy, watercolor painting, and paper crafts. I also like prettifying my mail and journals. I'm more comfortable doing things digitally but I'm trying to learn the traditional way.

I just sent my first swap and it dawned on me that I should add a footnote here for my partners regarding swaps and mail:

For outgoing mail, it usually takes 2-3 weeks for my pen pals to receive mail from me. There were times that it took 10 days or under 2 weeks, it really varies.

For incoming mail, I usually receive them in 2-4 weeks. In some cases, it takes more than a month. Incoming mail is, unfortunately, slower but I'm a patient person. :)
