Hey everyone! As of November 15th, I will be away for at most two weeks. I unfortunately had an emergency and had to fly out of state. If i owed you a swap or a resend, they have all been mailed. If you message me after the 15th, i might not see it until i return. Thank you for understanding. โก
Hi, I'm Ali. I'm a 31-year-old, neurospicy (Autistic & ADHD) individual. I live with my wonderful partner and our adorable Yorkie pup in a state of bliss surrounded by geese. I love watching too much TV, reading past my bedtime, and have an immense fondness for food. I'm scared of almost everything, but I scream with joy when I see a dog and am deeply in love with Halloween. Given the chance, I will always choose the colored pink option.
I am dyslexic. I find it hard to read small handwriting, especially cursive. Please be mindful when writing your notes or letters! I'd hate to not be able to read your stuff.
Reading is my passion. I absolutely love everything about it. I manage to read 100+ books a year. My favorite genres include horror, psychological thrillers (the more shocking twists, the better), and dystopian sci-fi. I also enjoy contemporary fiction, LGBTQIA+ stories, and young adult novels. I'm always eager to discover new books to add to my TBR, so feel free to send me your recommendations! Bonus points if the book left you in shock, feeling uneasy, or deeply emotional.
Books read in June:
The Return of Ellie Black - Emiko Jean
One Perfect Couple - Ruth Ware
Diavola - Jennifer Thorne
She's Not Sorry - Mary Kubica
Home is Where the Bodies Are - Jeneva Rose
Darling Girls - Sally Hepworth
The Only One Left - Riley Sager
Currently Reading: Red - Annie Cardi
Postcard likes:

Please avoid sending me things associated with American flags, military motifs, old school vintage, churches, sports, cars, maps, steampunk, weddings, baby showers, cowboy/western, and anything similar.
I do not support J.K Rowling. I'd appreciate nothing related to her and Harry Potter. I also do not support Autism Speaks or jigsaw pieces associated with Autism. I prefer the infinity symbol! โพ๏ธ
Please do not send ribbons, fabric, buttons, or things of that nature. I do not sew. Used postage stamps - used anything. Tea or food. I have included what I like as tuck-ins further down in my profile.

When it comes to ratings, I usually open my mail a couple of days after receiving it. I tend to rate twice a week when I gather all my mail, find a quiet spot, and open it. Due to my ADHD, if I were to open it the same day I might get distracted and forget about it. I appreciate your patience when it comes to receiving ratings from me. I assure you that I will rate everyone. If I haven't received something from you, I will contact you before giving a low rating. Just to let you know, I'm a bit behind on my ratings as of 07/06!
Writing prompts if you're not sure what to write! What song are you currently obsessed with? How is today's weather making you feel? What made you smile today? What is on today's menu?
I am always looking for something new to watch while eating dinner or working on swaps. I have most streaming services so feel free to suggest movies or shows!
I do not celebrate Easter (bunny stuff is okay, but nothing religious), 4th of July, Columbus Day, St. Patrick's Day, or Thanksgiving. Please refrain from sending me anything related to these occasions.
Lately, I have been receiving mail that does not meet happy mail expectations. While I don't require an elaborate art project, I do appreciate a personalized touch such as a note or stickers on the envelope. It's disheartening to receive swaps that seem hastily put together for an easy rating.
While I am open to learning about different religions, I prefer not to receive Christian or Catholic items. If you want to share items related to your religion for educational purposes without attempting to convert me, I have no issue with that.
Please be mindful of certain scents such as cigarette smoke and essential oils due to my chronic migraines. If these scents are present in the swap, I may have to discard it or air it out. I am not interested in purchasing Young Living essential oils.
Thank you for your understanding.

Going through my swaps and trying to archive all the completed ones. I did not receive your Halloween Card #7, I see that you sent it out on October 9. I see that you are out of the state for 2 weeks. I was thinking that it probably got lost in the mail.
Hello, I have not received two swaps from you, MissBrenda's Hallowwen Card swaps #6 and #7. I am willing to wait another week for them to arrive. If they do not show up, I would ask that you simply pop a card in the mail for each, no extras and I will rate you when those arrive. I will let you know if and when the first ones arrive. Thanks for your attention to this matter. MissBrenda
Hey Alicia! I sent your stitch swap 2 days ago but forgot to mark it sent till today. Just wanted to give you a heads up itโs already on its way!
Please disregard. I'm trying to get caught up.
I think I may have messed up this swap. Please let me know when (if) you receive your halloween washi tapes. So sorry if you don't receive them soon I will resend. We had a family emergency.
