Hi Shanell! I'm one of your partners for the Let's Meet swap. I enjoyed reading your profile. I drive a '98 Mustang named Sally, so I totally get that you named your car Lily :P. I have named all of my cars, and so have my friends, so it's definitely not stupid! I think it's very interesting that you identify as a green witch. I've always been fascinated by the use of herbs for healing. It's astounding what the Earth provides for us. I totally agree with you on the topic of horror movies. Amityville Horror is one of my all-time faves! Even the new one is worth a watch thanks to Ryan Reynolds. Thanks for putting the list of books you are currently reading. I've been looking for a new series to start, so I will definitely check those you listed out. Happy Swapping!

Greetings! I'm dropping by for Diane's Team Darkness comment swap and I'm glad I did. What a great combination of interests: hilarity, spooky, and wicca. I have no refined spiritual beliefs, but I have long been impressed with (and a little envious of) the wiccan community and its practices and festivals. I love Jim Carrey too. Truman Show and Man in the Moon came out when I was young and impressionable... and they made a big impression! I'm not sure what specifically I thought was so inspiring... I'm afraid to re-watch them now that I'm old and critical! I really like Bruce Almighty too. Maybe it was Morgan Freeman as God that I liked, or maybe it was just Jim Carrey's uncontrollable anger. I'm a lover of libraries and thrift stores too. I like when clothes are pre-loved or broken in. And I just love reading books, perusing through stacks. I especially like college libraries. My college had a great one, although it was easy to get distracted by the collection when one was supposed to be working.

Let's see. I'll just end this with a brief anedote: I've always been a cat-lover, and when I was in third grade I got into a heated debate with another girl because I believed pets could read minds and foresee danger and she thought that was crap.

hi, shanell! my name is jo, i'm one of your partners for the let's meet TD swap! i want to give you a virtual high five for trust issues! i, too, have a bit of a problem placing my trust in others. and i named my car, too! the make/model doesn't sound as cool as yours (how much do you love saying you drive a '65 Mustang? that's awesome), but i used to call my car the EMObile ... i kind of grew out of my emo phase, so now i call it Carzilla.

in reference to breaking out in song and dance -- i hear ya there! i write little songs in my head and sing them to my pets and my partner, or just sing them when i'm doing things around the house. do you have a certain song you sing, or do you tend to make them up as you go?

yay for being one with Mother Earth! i'm a big nature buff. i got the biggest smile when i saw your comment -- Mother Earth and her gifts are incredible. aaw, and i loved hearing about your pets. i have several pets, but also identify one of my cats as my familiar. how did you come about realizing that Smudge was your familiar?

i love love LOVE your list of horror movies - especially the classics like The Birds and Amityville. ooh, and Pet Semetary! that movie scared me so hard when i was younger. the classics just never get old. i grew up on them, and i'm going to raise my kids (if i ever have kids) on them.

i want wish you the absolute BEST of luck with going back to school. what made you choose Animal Care? that's such a noble profession - helping creatures who can't verbalize their concerns. :)

i really admire your ability to build lasting friendships thru pen-pal-ing. i've started a few relationships, but find it so hard to keep track of what i've written to each of them, especially when it comes to stories or antecdotes. how do you manage to keep track of what you've told each pen pal to avoid duplicate stories or facts?

i'm really glad i got to read through your profile, and i hope to run into you again soon, either on the TD forums or elsewhere on the 'bot. :D

cheers, jo

Hiya, I'm one of your partners for the TD Group swap.

We have many similar likes and dislikes. I love zentangling and tarot cards. I have often thought about creating my own tarot deck, but never got round to it yet!

I also dislike drama. I find it funny when it all blows up in the forums. Just sit back and watch it all unfold, just never step out into it! Lol!

All the best. xxx

Merry Meet, I'm one of your partners on "Let's meet. Okay, My profile or yours?" Swap HAHAHA! I LOVE your "Evil Inside" icon. OMG That completely made my day. Must have...LOL 29 was one of my best years! ROCK IT HARDCORE! Silliness is AWESOME! I think I love you...grin (Yes, that creepy kind of psycho killer kinda grin!) OMG you have my DREAM car! I name my cars as well. The current car is Ruby. My daughter and I have a saying..."don't piss us off! We have 35 acres and a back hoe." LOL! So, your little girl on your page cracked me up! I'm a kitchen witch myself. I'm happiest inside my kitchen, or working with candles. WEEE I feel much like you do about religion. Oh, Boxers...I LOVE them. My Dad had one as a child and he instilled love for that breed. I do love the group you & @MomOf5NC I'd really like to hear more about "Fat altered journals" from you. Happy swapping! Hugs, Dee
