I'm Sarah and I'm a stay-at-home mom to 3 young boys, born in 2007, 2009, & 2012. In my previous life I majored in English, went to law school, & was a lawyer who represented children who had been abused &/or neglected; most of my clients were in foster care.

I love my planner (Erin Condren life planner) and I recently fell in love with bullet journaling. I use a regular 8.5x11 notebook, but I just bought a fauxdori traveler's notebook to try out. It's 8.5x5 so it'll fit regular size inserts.

I don't do much crafting now, but I'm interested in ATCs and pocket letters (I've only done one of each so far). In the past I have sewn, crocheted, and done cross-stitch a bit.

I love love love Oh, The Places You'll Go and pretty much any Dr. Seuss book. I love Oliver Sacks & Stephen King books & true crime books. I've been reading a lot lately - especially suspense and sci fi books. Some of my recent favorites: The Night Circus, The Starless Sea, The Girl With All The Gifts, You (by Caroline Kepnes), 1Q84, Quantum Night, Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore, What Was Mine, What Alice Forgot, and Wreckage.

I'm interested in seeing some pocket letters and ATCs. Would love to receive some!

I love:

• Ombre, dip-dye, and watercolor stuff. I love really colorful things! Tie dye is okay too.

• grammar & punctuation (I'm an English geek so anything punctuation or grammar related is awesome)

• bullet journaling - I just started but I love it! (I use a regular large spiral notebook). I just ordered a fauxdori/travel journal and I'm really excited to try it out! It's 8.5 x 5 so it fits regular size inserts. I'd love any tips, suggestions, or supplies for it!

• Sci-fi related stuff. I love Doctor Who, Eureka, Warehouse 13, Torchwood, etc, and my kids are slowly turning me into a Harry Potter fan.

• personalized address labels

• rainbow colored stuff

• the color orange

• bright colors (not a huge fan of pastels or neons)

• anything Dr. Seuss related or sort of Seussish

• anything Doctor Who related

• handmade items (upcycled items too!). I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into making handmade items.

• my planner! I have an Erin Condren planner I love so any stickers or planner accessories are great!

• Jewelry - I'm not too picky. I have pierced ears.

• gel pens, Sharpie pens, fountain pens, etc.

• tea

• caffeine-related stuff. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I drink pop for the caffeine (mostly Slurpees) and I enjoy tea that's caffeinated or uncaffeinated). I love coffee sayings swapped with caffeine; for instance, "A yawn is a silent scream for caffeine" or "Good ideas start with brainstorming; great ideas start with caffeine"

• Yankee Candles and products

• pretty headbands (the fabric kind)

• handmade soap (preferably no patchouli scent!)

• candy/food - I love red licorice (Red Vines or Twizzlers), Mike & Ike's, caramel, & most candy that isn't sour or tropical flavors. I love anything salty! I love soup mixes (not veggie). I try to avoid artificial sweeteners (anything "diet"). Chocolate is good, but I don't like dark or white chocolate.

I dislike:

• the smell of patchouli & cigarette smoke! I'm not a big fan of vanilla either, but it's okay when mixed with something else.

• I don't wear makeup. Lipgloss or lip balm is okay.

• I've got tons of bath/body products that I never have time to use, so I don't need any of those.

• I have tons of pin cushions & nowhere to put them! They're cute, but please don't send me more!

• No FBs please!

My kids:

Cooper is 12 and is an artist and writer. He loves to read, write, and draw and is very talented. He loves My Chemical Romance and Twenty-One Pilots. He's on an inline speed skating team.

Dexter is 10 and he's our silly, dramatic child. He loves coding and robotics. Dexter loves rainbows and pretty things and disagrees that pink/sparkly/etc stuff is "just for girls". He's on an inline speed skating team.

Campbell's the baby - he'll be 7 in December 2019. He loves animals, especially dogs. He's a big fan of DanTDM, Spiderman, Black Panther, and Groot.
