Favorite Television

Hey All------ I'm an empty nester now. The only people who live here are 2 old farts and the critters (2 dogs and a cat)!!! There are critters outside also but I don't count them.

I have 3 #1 children, 2 boys and 1 girl. Three grandchildren 2 girls and 1 boy and hopefully one more before the end of the year!!

I am blessed in that my children all live within a few miles of our house so we get to see them and the gbabies a lot!

I have a wonderful husband who would do anything for me. I have been married for 32 years right now, going on 33.

I have the whole downstairs of our home for my creative endeavors. That includes one large family room my hubby turned into my sewing studio. Two bedrooms, one which is my papercrafting space and the other is the playroom for gbabies and my reading area (hosts the music also). There is also a full kitchen down there so I am set right along with my TV.

Did I tell you I just love TV. I do, don't know why but I do. I think it's because there is so much you can get on them now, from my music to education.

Favorite Music

I listen to all kinds of music. What I listen to actually depends upon what I am doing.

I do love the old blues, soulful and that with a deep beat and feeling to it.

Classical can get me when quilting and country always puts a hop in my pop.

Everything else is just fine also accept Heavy Metal, no way, gives me a major headache.

Favorite Crafts

I love it all although right now, the last five years, I have had a major paper addiction going on! Ahh, but what's a girl to do but buy more paper!

I am an avid quilter. Started when I was very young cutting apart clothing and making squares out of it for my grandmother to make quilts with. I still have some of her quilts I was able to save when she passed. Love you Toots!

I also love my papercrafts. Anything with paper or that allows that side of my mind to run wild is super.

I am an intermediate level Copic instructor. My girlfriend and I are on a race to see who gets all of the colors first. She's winning. We still take classes to keep our skills up and to try new things.

I could spend a whole day in our local craft store. It is so huge and has so much it would take forever to look at everything.

My crafty interests

OK, here goes on my crafty interests or likes as it goes.....

I am an avid paper lover, anything goes.

I love to quilt so am always looking for fabric, patterns, etc.

Love my sewing machines, 2 Bernina's and 1 beautiful Featherweight. Would love anything to go with my Featherweight.

Color - anything goes. I used to hate yellow but now it's getting higher on the scale. I do know my yellow fabric is zilch. I love any hue but have a tendency to gravitate to the jewel colors, rich and with a metallic touch.

Ephemera - can always use this. I make altered art journals and use it on them. Old papers like books or ads, foreign or English, antique postcards (can be good reprint also). Charms.

Chai Latte - yummy. Hooked on this stuff and I found some recipes online that I'm going to make for myself and friends. Going with the one that has 7 spices and brown sugar.

Chocolate - milk no nuts

GLUTEN - I have celiac disease so nothing that has gluten in it or I will pass it on to my husband. Just to forwarn so you don't feel hurt.

Supplies - sparkly stuff pens (metallic, gel, soufflé) any of them go paper - all Bling - bring it on baby!
