Virginia!!!! Virginia is for lovers!! Now I'm remembering the commercials right!!! Well, I packed up my bulldogs and headed down!! Issue a bee line to Michie Tavern and filled up on black eyed peas, cornbread and fried chicken!! And a side of stewed tomatoes!! Good ole southern food at its best!! Naturally, a peach cobbler showed up at my table. The whole thing, since I wanted to take some home!! Then we went to the caverns to walk off some of that lunch. Well, mostly we sat and enjoyed the view, since we were stuffed! We made our way to Jefferson's house next which is beautiful!! We were tired, so the bulls and I found a room tucked in the back and had ourselves a spend the night party!! We got shooed out around seven am the next day, but the good sleep was worth a little trouble when the found us sawing logs!!! Thanks for the awesome trip!! Now... I'd better gas up for my next adventure!!!
Lady Jo!!! I loved my tour of the Windmill Island Gardens! How lovely! I had a little picnic in the gazebo!! :) :) The travel bag is perfect! I need one for my make up, so that was AWESOME!! I think I may be going to Michigan next?? I think their slogan is Michigan-For Lovers!! I'll pack my bags!! xxoo
