I'm excited to find a place full of like-minded people that love to craft! I make things all the time for no reason and I'm thrilled to have a purpose for creating now! I live in Texas with my husband and 18 year old daughter who is in her first year of college. I'm preparing to be an empty nester next year. I'm 41 but pretty young at heart. Except I love to nap! I Love to travel and do new things. I work for a creative marketing agency and really enjoy it most of the time. I'm a Christian but accepting of all people.

I love to read anything, it's how I put myself to sleep every night. Right now I'm reading John Locke books because they are 99 cents each to download on amazon and are surprisingly good. I like Janet Evanovich and Jennifer Weiner. I think Redeeming Love is my all-time favorite. I buy self-help books but give up after the first chapter or two, and I'm a sucker for those expensive crafting (paper collage, ATCs, etc) and home decor books.

I love trying new crafts so please share any unique crafts you enjoy. I'm into all kinds of things; paper collage, art journaling, anything with a needle and thread, scrap booking, stamping, acrylic paints (not pictures, I can't draw AT ALL but like to creat textures and backgrounds). Crocheting, fabric dyeing, sewing anything but clothes, ATCs, screen printing, DIY home decor...

Anything purple puts a smile on my face and makes me happy.I also love blues, pinks, reds and black/grays. All colors really but not a huge orange fan. Love all things old, vintage, European. Print in any language other than English, epherma, glitter, rhinestones. Hydrangeas, fall and winter, uplifting/positive quotes, maps, colored paper, tissue paper. Chihuahuas, spiritual stuff, yarn and thread, pillow cases, fabric and fabric scraps, fibers, owls,

Dislikes - I'm not easily offended- crude and foul-mouthed can be hilarious, but I don't like dark/demonic type stuff or anything that's offensive to any group of people. I'd like to keep it light and respectful.
