Filling these things out always overwhelms me-
June 25, 2020-I want to thank (in advance) my partners that I have swaps coming to for being patient. My family has been affected by Covid-19 and we are working to get through this-I am finishing up every swap that is past due and will be getting them out this week, with lots of extras where possible. Please check in with me if you haven't received your swaps and I will get back to you, I promise-again, I am so sorry for this and thanks again for your patience.
Right now, The Greatest Showman and The Shape of Water are my favorite releases, but I am a huge Marvel fan and Star Wars and love action films. Love, Simon is a sweet movie. The movies I watch over and over when i need something to fall back on are "He's Just Not That Into You" "Valentine's Day" and "The Nightmare Before Christmas"
I don't have a lot of time to watch TV other than when I am cleaning the house :) but I like to watch cooking shows whenever I can. Right now my favorite shows are Stranger Things, I, Zombie, How To Get Away with Murder, Handmaid's Tail, The Runaways, Game Of Thrones, Queer Eye.
A true child of the 80's-Prince and David Bowie, Tears for Fears, Depeche Mode and The Gap Band are a few of my early musical influences. Now I get share these things with my kids. In turn, they have me introduced me to Fall Out Boy and Panic! at the Disco. I also love listening to classic rock and I am a closet DeadHead. While I grew up with Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton and Waylon Jennings-and still love them-I am not a fan of "new country"
I am also a huge fan of some recent soundtracks-Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, The Greatest Showman.
I like to think of myself as an avid reader but it doesn't happen as much now that I am working and driving kids around. True crime and futuristic murder mysteries-think JD Robb-fascinate me. If a book is going to be a bodice ripper-it has to be a bit over the top and in the renaissance period.
I am a personal chef so regional cookbooks and memoirs of chefs are fascinating to me.
Wow, where to start? It is easier to say what I am not-I am NOT a scrapbooker, but I collect ephemera and gorgeous papers for ATCs and junk journals.I am not a quilter, but I collect old clothes-especially saris and old sweaters-to upcycle into scarves and other things. I collect old jewelry which I use to make new jewelry.
I am currently in an orange phase that has nothing to do with it being Autumn currently. I love its quirkiness. My kids call me a hipster because I like all things bohemian, but I was a hippy before anyone found it trendy-I actually like macrame and string art and all things natural. And beads, I love glass beads of all sorts. And old books and old unusual stamps. I like steampunk and gothic things. I like taking pictures of architecture and flowers and turning them into little digital art pieces. I collect food/recipe postcards and playing cards and smashed pennies from the places I visit.
I am not into really "cute" things-puppies and kitties are not my thing. I don't use a lot of stickers of any sort, but washi tape is fabulous. I am not into anything religious and my tastes for the holidays run to the vintage and natural side of things rather than sparkly and shiny side of things. Think-more the trees and candles and less glitter and glitz.

Hello GinaCV, Good evening! Hope all is well in your life. I have never done a junk journal but have heard a lot about them on this site, I might have to give it a try. I'm always looking for new crafts to try! Have a wonderful weekend! Take care! -Jennie
