I’m 38, mama of 4 munchkins, married to my English husband, work as a nurse practitioner with underserved people of all ages.
I’m an introverted extrovert and have a small group of close friends that mean the world to me, but can honestly say some of my closest friends I’ve learned to know through writing.
Love to talk about travel adventures! Have lived in Germany and traveled fairly extensively in both the USA & Europe. Volunteered in the Philippines for 6 weeks and adopted one of our daughters from China. Human rights and helping people around the world with basic needs is important to me.
I am new to swap-bot, but have written for years and been a part of various similar groups! Excited to make more snail mail friendships & see more colorful mail! 💌
I really put effort into the appearance of things I send, the items, and letters. I love getting colorful and similar well thought out things also.
My 10 year old daughter is always looking for pennpals, so let me know if you have a daughter looking for one!

I am a bookworm! 📖 📚
📚 I even belong to 2 book clubs to expand my horizons and get great ideas. I tend to stick more to memoirs, historical fiction, comedy, some chick books (like “The Rosie Project”), psychological thrillers....
👎🏻 Not a fan of sci-fi, fantasy, dystopian, zombie anything, gory, apocalypse....
📚 Have read very few classics, but am not against trying it out
📚 HAVE LOVED THESE BOOKS📚
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society, The Girl with Seven Names, Brain on fire, The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova, The Time Traveler’s Wife, Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine
I taught myself to sew 3 years ago and mainly sew quilts, various kid gifts.... but most recently have been making reusable menstrual pads for girls in 3rd world countries.
I love mail art & creating my own envelopes
Dreaming up various projects. There’s nothing I’m not afraid to try at least once.
Digital photo book making! Many years ago I enjoyed scrapbooking, but have left that part of my life.
Just starting Bible journaling.....a huge art project in itself
Seeing your heart put into swaps and mail, being yourself and know that I care about who you are & what your experiences are! Everyone has an amazing story, even if they don’t realize it yet! ❤️
