I am Yvette, also known as The Bead Diva. I love art glass beads, buttons, baubles and teaching people how to make jewelry. I am a wife, mother, daughter and friend living in Texas. While I enjoy the amenities of the big city life of Dallas close by, I yearn for the peaceful and calmness of nature at a lake or on the beach. I really enjoy nature. I enjoy traveling and have been to Europe, Russia, Egypt, China, Japan, Mexico, Canada and to 45 of the 50 states. I love Pinning but it gets me in trouble. Too many things I see that I want to do! I enjoy the holidays and planning things. I've been told I am a go getter and self motivator. I am a full time caregiver for my mother. I really don't read a lot because it makes me sleepy so when I do I read inspirational wisdom and things that relate to happiness. I am very interested in comparative religions, peace and compassion for all mankind.

I do anything that ends in "ing". I just can't do them all so I try to focus. I like quilting, beading, scrap-booking, cross-stitching, cooking, gardening and now swapping. I admire upcycled items. I wish I had the talent and tools to convert the items I have ideas for. I shop in thrift stores for lost treasures and love to go junkin with friends. I've just started creating Inchies and ATCs. The first few I've ever created were for swaps - I can see this becoming my latest art/craft endeavor.

Honestly I collect too many things but here are a few of my favorites:

Things I prefer not to receive:

Knick knacks, Dust catchers & souvenirs, Scented products (I'm allergic), Kid project supplies, Cat things, Foam crafts, Mint flavor candies, Religious items,

I really like all colors but my favorites are blues, purples and violets.
