Description:
For this swap you will be making a 4 of July Dotee Doll. So think red, white and blue or about our Troops. You will make 1 dotee What is a dotee? A dotee is a small art doll, 3" - 5" tall. Dotees also have a loop for hanging. Tails are optional. If you like them or it adds to your over all look your going for - add one. You must have a rating of 4.85. Because of the lightweight of a dotee this will be international. No recent 1's or 3's. Newbies are welcome. Do not flake! Do not flake! DO NOT FLAKE!!!!!! Please :o)

I just binged "dotee dolls". They are really neat looking. Are they only little sewn dolls? Does anyone knit or crochet them?

Wish the swap were one or the other - instead of both. I love making dotees, but I don't do ATCs.

I don't think anyone would mind if you crocheted or knitted them. I got one that was knitted awhile back thats is beautiful. If anyone has a problem with this please let me know.

I've never done an ATC either. My bday is 4th of July and my hubby did 20 years in the Marine Corps so I love the idea of a 4th of July/Troop dotee swap. I am willing to participate if my partner would be willing to get a first time atc from me. You have to start somewhere right.

Thanks, I'm in. Now to decide if I want it to be more troop like or more 4th of July like. My husband gave me a cami top a couple years ago that he never used. I thought about turning it into a dress for my daughter but never did so I have that material but I have some cute 4th of July material too. So it's tough.
