Inspired by http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/91352 The most simple electronic swap ever. If you want to get your blog known by more people, this is the swap for you ! You'll get 5 partners To each partner you will send a link to your blog in email. You can send more than one link if you want to recommend more sites, but please no more than 3 links, and make clear which link is your own blog! Don't have a blog, but do have a flickr account or any other similar social networking site which you regularly update with your projects and photos... well that is ok too. The only stipulation is that the first link must be of your own works. Remember you can send up to 3 links. If you would really like to share a blog which you enjoy reading you can do that too. When you receive your link please take time to look at the other persons blog, follow it if you like their content, but as a minimum comment on at least 2 of their blog posts. (we all love comments right - make sure your comments are positive!) The point is that we all share an interest in Quilting so hopefully the blog/s you receive in email should have some content of interest to you.

Hi everyone... due to a request of someone who doesn't have a blog, but does have a flickr account, I've decided to open this one up a little more. If you don't have a blog I'd really love you to join in too as long as you have something like a flickr account or similar where you regularly share your own quilting projects :)

I don't do quilting, but I do other crafts, can i still join this swap??

Hi MagicbyLeah, is it a textile/fabric related craft? My aim was to see other what some other people are doing in a similar genre, so quilting, applique, embellishing fabric like crazy quilts or free motion quilting designs, etc - anything a quilter might do, which I understand is reasonably broad, but also limiting.

This seems to be a popular swap, but many people feel they can't join as they're not strictly "quilting". I'm going to start a couple of other swaps for "art" related blogs and "craft" related blogs if you feel you can't join this one. Please check my profile if you'd like to join those.

And don't take it too seriously. I'm sure if you have a nice blog with a bit of cross over into quilting themes, even if it isn't the central topic, that people will still enjoy the visit and rate you a 5. It is supposed to be a fun, sharing swap :)
