Cover Me mix CD

I've always found it fascinating to hear different artists' and bands' approach to the same songs. I love covers! If you agree, then read on.

For this swap you will make a mix CD of covers. What's a cover? It is a song that has been re-recorded by someone other than the original artist. You may also know them as "remakes" or "tributes."

The Nitty-Gritty: You will send 1 CD to each of 2 partners. That's 2 CDs total. Each CD must have a minimum of 15 tracks. Please also include a track list featuring each song name, who did it originally (you can put "traditional" if it's an old old song no one knows the origin of), and who did the cover.

THIS IS A MIX CD. For that reason, I'm putting a limit on the number of tracks you use from any given artist. There should be no more than 4 songs originally done by or covered by any one band/artist. So, no burning a whole Depeche Mode tribute album, or an album by a cover band (where it's the same band on every track covering different people). Clear as mud? If you have questions, ask. I'm always willing to clarify.

For hearts, you can send more than one CD of covers. Or if you're really a daredevil, you could send a CD of covers, and then a CD of the originals. Whatever you do, have fun with it!

This swap is international. Newbies with fill-in profiles welcome. Rated swappers are welcome with 4.75 and higher and no recent no-sends. I will ban anyone who looks dodgy.
