Number of people in swap:10
Location:Other
Type:None
Last day to signup/drop:November 11, 2007
Date items must be sent by:December 1, 2007
Number of swap partners:1
Description:

Unfortunately, this is a U.S. only swap.

The idea: to put together something fabric/notions coordinated and send it to your partner. This time around, we're going to start the long awaited, much anticipated Christmas prep.

If you've been around the Coordination block before, you know the drill.

The swap: put together the following and send them to your partner:

  1. two fat quarters.

  2. four buttons

  3. ribbon (at least a yard)

Difficulty: everything (fabric, ribbon, buttons) must coordinate in some way.

This month's theme: Christmas. They can be prints, patterns, solids. As long as they fit in the Christmas theme, color is up to you.

Particulars:

  1. One partner per person

  2. You have two weeks (give or take a day or so) from the start date to get your package out

  3. If you have any issues, let me know

  4. U.S. only

  5. Anyone can join. All i ask is that if you are new, please just drop me a line.

6. I reserve the right to ban anyone from my swap for any reason.

What size is a fat quarter? I've seen them pre-bundled, but not very festive around here:)

I hope I will be allowed to join! (I'm a newbie). I've been teaching my friend how to quilt and I have been eyeing the scraps from the quilt she is making. That means I need some new holiday fabric of my own. My only request -- no angels and no pastels, please. :-)

BTW a FQ is 18 by 22. To make a FQ buy a 1/2 yard of fabric (18 x 44) and cut it in half (making 2 18x22 pieces). Now you have 1 FQ to send and one for yourself.

I love this idea! Can't wait...to make and receive!
