Description:

Here's a quick, easy and fun swap for knitters and crocheters. Needle cozies are cute but, also keep your needles together in sets and keep the tips smooth to prevent snags.

Knit a cozy to fit any size needles or crochet hook. Limit your main yarn selection to cotton, wool, silk, soy or bamboo yarn. You can embellish with whatever type material you like. Include a cozy little something (use your imagination) for the knitter.

This swap is open to international participation. You will swap with 2 people. Only swappers with a rating of 4.75 or greater are welcome to participate.

This should be fun. Any more takers?

I am new to knitting and I like to knit, but I am not very good at it. Where can I find a pattern or "how to" make a needle cozy?

Hi v.p., The only pattern I've found is in Cat Bordhi's book which is referenced in this link. The link has a picture of the cozies. http://www.catbordhi.com/free_patterns.html -or- you could knit an I-cord and leave it open at one end. That would work. Or, knit a 3X8 or so piece of stockinette and then bind one end and the sides closed. The cozy looks like a long, skinny stocking cap. I look forward to seeing what you make. M.e.
