Rating requirement:4.80 (unrated swappers allowed)
Last day to signup/drop:February 4, 2011
Date items must be sent by:February 21, 2011
Number of swap partners:3
Description:

This was so much fun last time, so let's try it again. Write your partner a short note on a pretty note card, note paper or cute post card and include 4 tea bags, all different please. This swap is sender's choice, so be sure you are open to most anything. Rules: Teas must be in original wrapper or nicely wrapped seperately so they will not pick up the flavors of the other teas in the envie.
Due to problems in the last swap, Australia must not participate. You guys really should start a movement to fight the no tea in the mail thing!

4 different teas is a must! I will view each person's profile, which should be filled out.

Note should be on nice note paper or a note card

** I will angel anyone who is flaked on by two partners. If, by the end of February you have not received at least 2 packages of tea, rate your partners and then contact me and I'll send you an angel care package.

you say 2 packages, but it says only 1 partner. is it gonna be 1 or 2 partners?

hi,

i'm new to this, but a friend of mind that does alot of tea swaps in and out of Australia, writes on her customs declaration that it is drink samples if this helps out. if anyone wants to be naughty.

Hello,

What's the best way to send these packages? Envelope? Flat rate? I'm in the USA and I'm trying to find the most economical option for this swap.

Thank you!

beaglemom 01/22/2011 #

There are 3 partners and the best way to send is an envelope....

I'm allergic to camomile, please no camomile-tea for me, everything else is fine.

@tinableee & others in the USA - I've found that if you tape your tea bags side by side with removable tape (painter's tape is great for this - it's blue and easily removable), they will fit easily into 4x9 (rough size) business size envelope. I usually put them inside a piece of card stock, but you could also fold a copy paper in thirds and put them inside. You could also tape them two tea bags side-by-side, in two layers (so it makes a square) and put them into a card for sturdier mailing and a regular envelope. This is what has worked for me.

Ok I am new to Swap-bot and this is my first ever swap here. how do we know who to send them too? and any other tips on swaping and such would be greatly appreciated. and how do we know what ppl can use and can't, like i see some that are allergic to certain teas. Please help a newbie out. thanks.

kgeslab 02/ 2/2011 #

Grey Raven - On Feb 5th I will assign partners and you will get an email telling you partners have been assigned. Then the swap will have a tag that says "see the partners you send to" and you will click there to get names and addresses.

GreyRaven 02/ 2/2011 #

ok great, I can't wait to get started.

RadicalRecrafter 02/ 2/2011 #

Do you mean,"by the end of February"-not January? If this is International , I would think the end of March , to be sure to give the mail time to get there. Even sending to Alaska can take quite a long time!

angeliclizard 02/ 5/2011 #

Wrote my notes and packaged them up with some (hopefully) yummy teas!
