This is basically a selfhelp kind of swap for me and anyone who has a similar problem (of course anybody else who likes the idea is welcome too): I know I enjoy crafting and sewing a lot once I do it but a lot of times I just won't start. So I thought it would be nice to have a good reason and a deadline to get busy! And I thought it would be nice to send out some supplies with the handmade item that might inspire your partner to get crafty again... even when the swap is over. -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- Okay, so here's the deal: You will have one partner that you will send one item you made yourself AND some supplies to get crafty with: things that you think will inspire your partner to create something new. The handmade item is totally up to you (sender's choice). The crafty supplies should match your partner's profile. I was thinking of a value of about $ 10 - 15 for these items. -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- How does that sound to you? I have a lot of holidays during September so the dates are perfect for me. So there's no excuse for me not to join. Although it is intimidating :) which is also perfect for me too - I work best under pressure (and fear) :)
