- Describe your favorite childhood toy.
- Describe your childhood pet.
- Who was your first best friend? Describe him/her.
- What was the bravest thing you ever did as a child?
- What was your favorite subject in school and why?
- What was your favorite cartoon or TV show growing up?
- Describe your yard as a child. Did you help with the yard work?
- How did you like being the oldest, youngest, middle or only child?
- Did you have a childhood hideout? Tell about it.

- Describe your first memory.

Memorable Experiences and People
- Describe a memorable teacher (good or bad) and what made this person so memorable to you?

- Describe your favorite Christmas memory.

- Where did your grandparents live? What was their home like? Did it have a certain smell or look?
- Tell how, when and where you learned to drive and any memorable experiences.

- Write a letter to someone you need to forgive.

Who You Are Today
- Describe your best friend or someone you are close to today.
- What kind of movies do you enjoy the most?
- What kind of books do you enjoy the most?
- What is your idea of a perfect friend?
- If you could go anywhere on a vacation where would you go and why?
- Choose a person in your life and write a list of all the things you appreciate about that person.
- Write about something that drives you nuts / your pet peeve.
- What is an important lesson, advice or message that you have learned that you might pass on to others?
- List ten reasons why you are glad to be you.
- What scares you today?
- The Threes: Describe three things you can’t live without, three favorite things to wear, and three things you want in a relationship.
