Description:

Send your partner a small flat-rate box full of goodies! These are the boxes you can get for free at your local PO and mail for $4.95, up to 70 lbs. I'd like to see anyone cram 70 lbs into one of these babies!

The package must include at least 5 items that are book/reading related. Because the package is so small, please don't send an actual book unless it's really tiny. It wouldn't leave much room for other goodies!

Anything else you fit into the box can be a mix of sender's choice and profile-based items. Make this something you would LOVE to receive yourself. There is no spending minimum or maximum. This is a good trustworthy group and I know anything you put together will be lovely.

I'm not setting any rules for joining since we shouldn't have flaker issues in this group, but I do reserve the right to ban anyone I feel cannot fulfill their end of the swap. US only.

To sum up: 1 small flat rate package, at least 5 reading/book related items, the rest is up to you, your choice and/or profile based.

Cram it full people!

Boy that's the truth (re:"shouldn't have flaker issues in this group)... we have great swappers here!! I don't think anyone in any of our swaps has flaked, and they are always such thoughtful packages. I hope everyone else has experienced the same thing. I have removed one person from the group, (I think? Definitely not more than that), and 2 from my cookie group (basically inactive now anyway) Let me know if you have problems, but I have tried to be pretty particular in letting people in...if you are in this group it is probably because you are a really strong swapper!

(I should have prefaced that "not swap related! I have just been feeling really blessed with my swap-bot experience and all the people I have met here. Especially with all the people in the forums that talk about how many times they have been flaked on! I will stick to my wonderful little groups! :)

What's a flat-rat box? Do I need to find a flat rat and put it in a box? or will a flat squirrel do? Where can I find a 70 pound rat? hahaha! I'm feeling punchy this morning, you'll have to excuse me.....

Aaaaah! Thank you! I hate typos, especially my own!

Oh, I was going to join specifically to get a flat rat box. I have a flat rat, and have never been able to find a box just its size...rats. (heh heh)

Not sure yet whether I can join this month, but if I do, I am decorating my box to look like a rat!
