Description:

Info Update now! :) What we’ll use for the Crafty journal is a spiral bound book with at least 30 sheets (=60 pages). Size… A4, which is different in the USA and Europe, so let’s just say more-or-less A4. US size that’s 8.5" x 11". Blank, lined, checked – that’s up to you. Your choice, maybe also depending on what you find.

As for dividers – I’d say making some small ones that you can glue to the side of a page – 5 such dividers. You can discuss the themes with your swap partner – as well as how many pages should be chosen per theme. Some themes are used more often and your partner will know if they want, say, more for paper crafts and less for knitting, crocheting, etc.

Then add 3 instructions of your own for your partner. :)

And of course, please decorate front and back of this journal. :)

I hope this works now for all of us? Let me know! :)

Love this idea!!! I'm up for decorating the binder, including instructions for 3 crafts... and decorating dividers to be used by your partner. Maybe making dividers with blank tabs so that your partner may label them in the manner that they would prefer? I'm also not clear on what A4 size is... :D Maybe clarify with measurements and being international... we can work to get as close to those measurements as possible. Thanks for a really great idea!

Oh one more thing... can we move the mail date to the 18th or 20th? The Alice booklet mail date is the 14th... so if we could push this one out just a little that would make it easier for me. Thanks!!!

Yay then :D i've moved the send by date to the 26th June. if everyone's alright with that I'll leave it like that. else I can always change it once more. :)

Em... ok... A4 is your usual papersize for letters, print paper, etc. let me see... ok, wikipedia helped: A4 (210 × 297 mm) as in here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paper_size

I love the idea of the binder (without the paper, right?) and everything else, too. I'd be up to decorating the dividers as well but leaving them blank. that's a good idea. :) and the 3 or more instructions (they can be printed out or handwritten or whatever, I think?). how many dividers? here they come in sets of 6 or 12.

Thanks for moving the date! I'm good with both 6 or 12... so either one would be fine for me! And yes.. without the paper (with the exception of the dividers and the 3 instruction sheets) would be good! That will keep the weight down for shipping purposes! :D YAY I can't wait!!!
