Description:

Hellllooooo Ladies! Welcome to Wicked Awesome Esquire! We wanted to have a swap up and ready to get the group off to a rolling start :)

This is your crafty mission if you choose to accept it : You will take one Inchie (1 x 1 inch square), one Twinchie (2 x 2 inch square) and one Chunky (4 x 4 1/2 inch square.....the half inch is for binding purposes) decorate with papers, paints, special textural techniques... bling them out with embellishments, glitter, collage, hand drawn art, in a vintage theme.....sky is the limit! The Chunky page may also have items that dangle from the sides if you so choose. Now, to compile you project the chunky goes on the bottom, the twinchie should then be firmly attached to the top of the chunky. Lastly attach your inchie firmly to the top of the twinchie. Kinda like a little layer cake. As long as the piece are compiled in that order you are ready to go bananas in the creativity department :)

To make the body of the inchies, twinchies and chunkies: A nice sturdy chipboard would be probably the easiest preferred method but these can be made many ways. 2-3 pieces of good quality cardstock layers glued together. Two pieces of smooth cardboard (for example from a ceral box) layered and glued together to make a sturdy piece. 2-3 layers of cut manilla file folders make a nice body for the pieces. I have also noticed online and in some craft stores that they have inchies, twinchies and chunkies in pre-cut metal sizes as well as in acrylics. Any of these would be acceptable for this swap. Chunky layer/page may have either square or rounded edges. Whatever you prefer. After this they are ready to paper, paint, texture, embellish, seal project if needed....go nuts!

Requirements~ Vintage theme, so anything vintage style is a go! Please be sure to use the correct measurements for the inchies, twinchie and chunky. Let your creativeness flow to do your best work and please sign the back of the chunky page. Art should always be signed :) Please, use a good adhesive/ glue for embellishments so they'll hopefully survive the postal service intact (fingers crossed). One partner per swapper. It is absolutely mandatory that you have so much fun creating this project, that your toes curl up in glee at some point during the creation process :)

Please note this swap is for WAE members only.

Have some wicked awesome fun!

Should there be a blank 1" border on one side of the chunky so there would be room to bind it into a book? So that would be a 5x4" chunky?

Should there be a blank 1/2" border on one side of the chunky so there would be room to bind it into a book? So that would be a 4x5"x4" chunky?

Also, can you tell me what is a 'chubby'? I couldn't find it in the glossary.

Ack for some reason I cannot delete the two comments above with typos, so ignore those and read this one:

Uh...I was ambien ridden when I wrote the last part of the swap. For some reason I wrote Chubbies instead of Chunky-chunkies. Dork is Crapisty. I'll fix the error now in the narrative in the swap. Chubbies be gone!

Hmm. This is my first foray into the inchie, twinchie, chunky. Either we can add the extra half inch or leave the left side of the chunky unadorned. Any preference? I can add both options to the swap or narrow it to one.

I think I like the idea of adding a border to the left side, so we could bind it into a book.

Excellent! I shall fix that now in the swap description :)

Dont worry Crapisty, I took an OD of clonazepam the other night and have come back and read comments and forum posts I must have written during that time and don't remember writing, haha! Wow I am very much more profound on drugs.
