how many pages should the journal have? + how many activities?

Snason 10/12/2009 #

Are these activities journal prompts?

Snason 10/12/2009 #

Oh, after reading it I see now what you mean... sounds interesting, I will be watching for now.

Shiverphone - Let's use a small journal or one subject notebook (at least 30 pages-but can be more) It would be nice if you can put something on every two pages at least.

would you consider adding canada to the region? i'm in canada and a 30 some odd page notebook is fairly inexpensive to mail within north america. if not, I'd love if you considered hosting an international version of this.

happylilartist - I am happy to announce that Canada has been added.

I love to do things like this and used to do it alot when I was a kid, using magazines. Am watching!

I am loving this idea! I already have 30+ ideas and I was so hyped up on creativity at work today that I could barely sit in my chair and do my job! Quick thought here, I'm thinking I don't really want to write in the art journal itself because it will mess up the page meant for the art? Are we making a table of contents with what's supposed to be on each page or maybe just put the activity on a sticky note and attach one sticky to each page?

Jec0646 10/21/2009 #

Rainydaygold - that is a thought. I like the table of contents and sticky note idea. What does everyone else think? Have you started your journals yet? If not, Let's add a table of contents page AND put the activities on a sticky note and attach to each page.

OK, Just to make sure I have this right. We will not write anything at all on the pages themselves, but just stick post-it's on each page with the instructions? For the table of contents, are we listing basically what we've already written on the post-it notes for each page? Can we start on these now-sender's choice?

Jec0646 10/26/2009 #

craftygirl - You have it right! Sender's choice. You can start now!

Like the idea, but not the sticky notes.....

Lined journals? Or are we required to have blank journals. If we're writing prompts on sticky notes, should we not glue things to the pages?

Jec0646 11/20/2009 #

I was thinking blank pages. you can add little accents to the pages if you want...just make sure your partner has room to complete the tasks.
