potato stamping

Ok, here goes!

We use fabric tote bags to go shopping with!

I thought, we could all get one of the canvas bags with no design on them (the craft stores sell them usually and if I remember correctly Wal mart does too in the crafting section) Then you take a potato and stamp a cute little design on it (you could cut a shape in the potato or use it as polka dots... here is a link and here is another one. So you can read about potato stamping and see what it is all about.

So to recap: you will have one (1)partner and make one(1) fabric bag for that partner. Colours are SENDERS CHOICE, but please don't use any your partner absolutely despises! The tote should be approximately 12"high and 13"wide . This is a nice size to take shopping (if you don't do your monthly grocery-buy) I say approximately, because I talked to Michels and they told me they could vary a bit (half an inch either way...)

Make something you would like to receive. Please put effort in it! :)

I will give 5 weeks for this swap, so you all can run out and get the bag and find the perfect potato in your stash!

I am making this a regional swap for postage reasons, but if you would like an international or a European one, go for it! Swapping is fun! :D
