Description:

Hello everyone, this is my first swap so please be patient will me.

A couple of months ago I signed up for a Goblin ATC that got cancelled due to an illness. So I have these wonderful ATC's that I made that I want to share.

This is 2 ATC's for 1 person. Standard size 2.5 x 3.5.

The first ATC will have a goblin on it somewhere. Think Brian and Wendy Froud, Lord of the Rings, fantasy there are many examples. You may stamp, paint, decoupage, draw, etc. Embellish as you like. NO STICKERS please as this is a great opportunity to practice your artistic skills. Goblins aren't perfect or pretty.

The second ATC will be fun, fun, fun because the theme is Goblin art for Goblins by Goblin. Just think, what would a goblin think is art? What would a goblin hang in his cave/home? What kind of pictures would be in a magazine for Goblins. How would a goblin create the art? Use your imagination. I had a great time with this part. I did not want to put up a picture for this, as I didn't want to influence anyone.

The sky's the limit; lets keep it dark and goblinish but not morbid if you know what I mean. A Goblin does NOT have to be in the second ATC. It's art for Goblins by Goblins. Have fun with it.

This swap is open to newbies and scores 4.5 and up.

I am giving 3 weeks to complete this so everyone can have time to experiment and not be rushed.

This sounds interesting. I'm not sure if I have goblin artistic abilities, but I'll watch this and try to think of something. ^v^

Hi, welcome. VampiraGirl, I'm sure you'll do fine. I left it open ended for the goblin art. It could be more abstract or even very artistic depending on the interpretation. I will give one hint that I did that others could do because the effect would be different for each person. If you don't want the hint, stop reading now......................one thing I played with was smashing fruit with a spatula on watercolor paper. It made some very interesting patterns and could be coaxed into art. Sort of like reading clouds. I had a great time with it and imagined that a goblin might have fun with something like that.

Wow. That sounds cool. I will join then, but I have to keep this on my watchlist to clear out some swaps. I'm looking forward to this now. Cool idea! Thanks for the response back also!!
