Life is difficult, especially for those of us who tend to walk in the fringes of society. And sometimes these difficulties can become overwhelming! Added to this, our inner Gremlin can take over, and make us feel worse by attacking ourselves, our lives, our choices. (Some of us can go nuts with this shit, I know I certainly can!)

And while we have suggestions on blessings and rituals to help our family and friends, we often “forget” these when we need it ourselves. It’s easy to forget to care for our own needs when we live and practice in isolation; there may not be anyone there to help us through the static in a way that fills our hearts and honors our spirits.

So let’s do this for each other. Let’s help raise vibrations and bring Beauty into each other’s lives; let’s support and bless each other through these heavy times by sharing a blessing, a prayer, a spell or an activity that our partner can do to raise their vibration and make themselves feel good.

And because we are all in different spaces, follow different paths and may not have much knowledge or experience, include as much of the “whys’ of each step or material used. Write as if teaching the spell to your student, always respecting your own spiritual boundaries, of course. But in a way that they can understand it well enough to adapt it to their own particular circumstances.

This is a very personal swap that will have a variety of presentations, so you may receive an activity you don’t resonate with. This can happen. However, if you received instructions for an activity to bring you joy, healing, cleansing or peace, rate them a 5. They did their part.

Swap Requirements: You will have one partner to write and share with. Because we are unaware of each other’s boundaries, we want to offer actions that are not too complicated and perhaps can be adapted by the recipient to their own belief system. To meet requirements you’ll send your partner complete instructions, with correspondences and education, on the work you are suggesting they do.

For example, if you are suggesting the creation of a good luck amulet, what would you include and why? Would it be done under prayer? Is it activated in a certain way? Maybe you are can share how you activate it? And maybe other ways to activate it. You might want to share a prayer for a blessing, or a recipe for an oil or a perfume? And add the instructions. You can suggest a mantra; a song and how you use it. You can suggest a lunar phase or a day/time to do this work and explain why. You get the idea!

I won’t put a page limit, because if you do this right you’ll have a couple of sheets anyway. But be thorough! Your partner shouldn’t have any questions, but watch your email just in case.… This is a writing swap, so make sure you spend some time adding detail.

Handwritten or printed is fine. Feel free to decorate the pages, because someone may want to put these pages in their binders, but it’s not required.

Make sure to write the swap name and your user name in your letter so you can get rated!

To participate:

To participate, swappers will require a thoroughly filled profile and recent activity on the site, especially as the swap nears.

Any low ratings will need to be addressed with me by the time of the swap, with the understanding that an explanation will not guarantee participation.

You know your rating, so if you want to play you need to reach out to me on Swap-bot. I’ll review accounts and check my swap-bot email before assigning partners and remove anyone who signed up, doesn’t meet the requirements of the swap AND has not reached out to me on their own.

Please keep in mind that these actions are only what I can do and does not guarantee your swap partner will send your goodies. If you don’t get your goodies, reach out to your partner to resolve it. Give them the benefit of the doubt and a reasonable amount of time to respond. If you don’t get a response after a reasonable amount of time, then rate them a one.
